Re: Dodonpachi Saidaioujou EXA LABEL

Great to know Cave are onboard. :awe: The Exa catalog of games is growing nicely as promised. Off topic, Does anybody know if the Japanese government will be supporting arcades/leisure sector during the current Covid-19 situation? I see Taito are temporarily closing a number of sites for example, he...

Re: exA-Arcadia

Gimmick! update looks and sounds great. It's nice to see an arcade exclusive and exA getting a lot of attention for this and I hope it does well. The developers could choose recoup some costs in a few years by releasing it on console. Very tempted, I do wish there was a slightly cheaper option to ge...

Re: New container orders

howto01_01.png Pokken Tournament ポッ拳 I'd be interested in knowing if these are available. I don't really require the Namco ES3 motherboard or marquee. They would make an easy conversion to Tekken 7. The game pad is direct input compatible and an adapter to JVS is provided. Price added to front page...

Re: TAITO TYPE X+ MOTHERBOARD HALF LIVE SURVIVOR GAME

You need the IO to connect analog controls.

The IO pinout is listed under CyberDiver in the Wiki.

The alternative is to patch the game, so that it will boot up and you can play with a regular PC (PS/2 style) Keyboard and Mouse.

Re: Items you can't afford on Yahoo Japan Auctions

That's sad news about SMJ closing, they've been perfect over the years. I had a hotel in Japan once that was just down the street so stuck my head around the door. :awe: What was the SMJ deposit for?, I just had the spending limit set at a decent amount when I opened the account a long time ago. Pro...

Re: Modern Jamma games

The art style in Skycurser is nice, I've not had an opportunity to find out how the final version plays. I've heard both positive and negative feedback about the game and hardware. NG Dev Team have mentioned that they intend to release a non PC based, JAMMA system that accepts cartridges. The first ...

Darius Cozmic Collection (International release)

Limited games (based in Germany) are releasing the Darius collection International version for PS4 and Switch. They have split the arcade and home collections into two releases. I understand there will be a digital release also next year. https://store.strictlylimitedgames.com/collections/darius-coz...

Re: Kawasaki Warehouse

I guess part of the attraction was that it was a 'destination' with so much in one place.

Taito Hey or Try Tower are just as interesting, so don't feel that you missed out.

I personally like the charm of small independent arcades just as much tbh

Re: Kawasaki Warehouse

Yes, it's certainly one of the best I have visited - being a modern building there was quite a bit of open space in the main areas that created a really chilled out vibe.

Although not shown in the video, they had multiple machines for all the latest releases and a interesting classics selection.

Re: exA-Arcadia

Does exA-Arcadia plan on attending JAPPO 2020 or making another showcase video to update the progress of forthcoming titles, I found that quite informative. You have given good reasons why targeting current generation and the popular developers needs to be the main focus. However interestingly you m...

Re: Optimal Voltage for Cave PCBs

5.04v is ok. I personally leave it anywhere between 4.92v-5v That's good advice. Some games will read different voltages depending if showing the attract mode or playing in game, due to the additional audio and I/O loadings. Generally you want to be 5v or under, unless you know the PCB states other...

Re: Capcom Home Arcade

It's the glossy overlay and invisible buttons that put me off the most, otherwise in some ways the grey shell design is quite neat.

If the price drops down to about £100-149 then sure, I would be tempted.

Re: exA-Arcadia

I contacted the 'webmaster' of exa.ac and received a reply to confirm they were only testing the store for launch. $2500 for the motherboard is in line with other manufactures, if that turns out to be the final retail price. I hope in future a consideration for offering discounts on games purchased ...
