Is that what the carts look like?
Yes.

perhaps the colour blue denotes the cartridge is for field test only and the red colour is the standard game centre release? and apparently you must locate the exA motherboard on top of a Taito X2 or X3 for it to function. :shifty:

Re: Xeno Crisis - Bitmap Bureau (MVS)

They released a second video with footage from the Mega Drive version a few months back. https://youtu.be/t1l_b1xskcE They wrote about plans for the Neo Geo version on FB. ........As for the Neo Geo version, we’re adding a number of enhancements that just aren’t technically feasible on the Mega Driv...

Re: exA-Arcadia

I have some general questions;

1. What is the expected retail price of the motherboard + game
2. Can a game be swapped between different motherboards?

Thanks

Re: exA-Arcadia

Looking forward to this.

If there is not going to be an official reseller in Europe then might it be worth providing a demo unit to somebody with PC hardware knowledge (AndyGeezer?) so that we have a local point of technical assistance.

Outrun to JAMMA adapter with controls

Hi-a

Connects an outrun pcb to standard JAMMA, dreamcast wheel for controls.

Picked this setup in Japan.

Here is a quick video I made of it in action, it plays well and accurately as you can see in the calibration tests.

£150.

Thanks for looking,

Hi

£25 + £4 P&P UK.

This game utilises the ROM-2 Board layout like that of Cyvern.

Thanks for looking,

Re: Arcooda - Australia's porfolio of modern arcade machines

I'm not knocking the product or company, but Is it not just a cewlix (Chinese vewlix clone) with a different control panel to cunningly disguise it?

Re: Capcom Home Arcade

I also like the stick design as it could pass for some obscure 1990's rental system only found in Japanese hotels :batlove: Final burn is well optimised for CPS hardware and should 'in theory' be accurate if they stick in on a nice ARM board. Current price is a little too high to tempt me, but will ...

Re: Capcom Arcade Collection 2?

Capcom power system charger 2?

Maybe they have always had the rights to those IP on a 'hardware' system :D

Re: Xeno Crisis - Bitmap Bureau (MVS)

A scaling effect would be awesome but is it really necessary? I mean...you see the entire room on one screen. Maybe only add it when transitioning from a cleared room into a new one? You are probably right in terms of the level design. ..but any excuse for some crazy zoom action, Super Dodge Ball i...

Re: Xeno Crisis - Bitmap Bureau (MVS)

I went for the MVS standard kit. 8-)

If they could add a slight zoom/shrink of the play field as you run around that would be next level coolness.

Re: exA-Arcadia

I've played a few hours of VRITRA and enjoyed the game, spooky ambience with a nice simple game mechanic that is not over fussy but rewarding.
Looking forward to see what the HEXA version of exA will include!

Looks like a good game, a big achievement overall given the complexity of the Neo Geo.

Re: exA-Arcadia

It's quite impressive really the progress of the hardware. Hardware specifications listed seems quite powerful enough for the suggested price. Although it may not be representative of final product, on twitch I noticed the system was able to boot into the game menu quickly from a restart. I did not ...

Re: exA-Arcadia

At the end of the twitch stream they briefly showed cassette / cartridge that were quite long and look easy to plug in. My impression is that the h/w unit appears to be smaller and lighter than a Taito TX2, if so that that will help with shipping. Aka & Blue now looks very polished and it was also g...

Re: Traditional Console Death! Long Live Streaming?

OnLive was ahead of it's time as a streaming box (720p), the latency was not too bad on first person games but noticeable on fast input games. Although I was located within 100 miles of a server. Apparently they had almost a 'whole PC's' worth of processing for each user online, so the system could ...

Re: SFV: Arcade Edition Coming to Japan Arcades in 2019

Tekken 7 has slapped SFV around the face with it's massive sales.

Especially as it was in the arcades for a couple of years for being released on console.

Who would have thought that could possibly work :awe:

Re: Capcom Belt Action Collection (PS4)???

I pre-ordered the 'limited' box as the book tempted me. I'm sure it will just be a printed version of the digital in game art library?

I'm a sucker for Capcom stuff and have owned the CPS power changer system in the past.
