Re: Street Fighter V

Not yet I think. There's some kind of exclusivity deal until March or so I believe.

Re: Button not working with Namco JVS/Jamma adapter

It's always worth checking for broken traces on the PCB itself. Follow it backwards from the JAMMA end. Measure continuity every step on the way as far as you can trace it. I've managed to fix PCBs this way with very little technical knowledge.

Re: Jamma Extension Hardness/Loom Problem

Bought one of those a few years ago, just when I bought my first cab. They're total crap I'm afraid, mine came with at least one completely loose solder joint and IIRC it uses too few wires for ground which is alway a sign of a cheap loom. I've since butchered it when I've needed some wires. Hope yo...

Re: Splicing up a new monitor question.

Shrink wrap and electrical tape is fine for 100v. You should be able to find out the specs when buying it. Just NEVER try to splice the anode, obviously :)

Re: Nintendonintendonintendo!

A bit old news, but I thought it might be worth posting some positive Wii U sales numbers finally.

Re: Batrider Bakraid Garegga (Poll inside)

So I guess I'm the first voting for Bakraid. Never managed to get into Garegga or Batraider... but maybe some day. :) Really like how Bakraid can be enjoyable playing in a very straightforward way for pure survival. And it doesn't get too demanding too quickly when you gradually start to participate...

Re: Wii U

The challenge level picks up a bit on world 3 and world 4.

Loving it, been playing it with my gf and is currently on world 5 with 103 stars.

Looks very nice! The first NG:DEV game I really feel like picking up. Art style, music, SFX, pacing... looks like a quality game.

Re: FINISHED PICS!! - Re-spraying a Naomi

It's wired for JVS. VGA can go directly into the monitor, just make sure the 360 is set to 640 x 480 or you may damage the monitor.

Re: FINISHED PICS!! - Re-spraying a Naomi

Yeah, a UK Naomi houses either a Sanwa or a Nanao MS-2932 (if you're lucky). Both are curved and 31khz only. A Japanese NNC normally has a Toshiba Pure Flat tri-sync (15-31 kHz). I've heard that some may have Nanao MS-2931 but I've never seen one that does.

Re: So I want to buy a DOJ pcb but....

Must heat build-up inside the case. Remove the battery or replace with a fresh one (super easy, no suicide on white label). Also make sure the fan is fresh so it can move as much air as possible.

Re: Worst/funniest game art

 I remember an old article in Swedish computer mag 'Datormagazin' about the developers of that C64 game Blood 'n' Guts. Greve Graphics was probably the first game developer company in Sweden. Re: Wii U

Nintendo need to admit defeat and bundle the Wii U without the touch screen. Well, the good thing with the Wii U controller is that it offers the option for developers to use sticks and buttons where it makes sense and the touch screen and other features where it adds to the experience. I'm really ...
