Re: Hanafuda cab

I didn't even know there are dedicated control panels for Hanafuda games

Are there any decent Hanafuda games for the arcade? Sorry for OT and good luck with your search.

$1400 for a pristine one last week:

Yeah I saw that one too and I didn't think it would sell so fast for that price. I was recognizing this more like a $1000 game. Oh well, expensive stuff :(

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread

It is. The 1P Japanese version should be around double that price.

Any input on a Japanese Night Slashers?

Re: Xeno Crisis - Bitmap Bureau (MVS)

Yep, MD is shipping. MVS will take some more time though (see here ). Dreamcast / Neo Geo We’ve not forgotten the Dreamcast and Neo Geo versions - we’re really excited to start full-on development for these once the bulk of the MD orders have shipped later this week. We’ll be back soon with a more n...

Re: Hyper Neo Geo 64 JAMMA connection question

Since the Rev. 1 is using standard JAMMA you should be good to go. The only Hyper Neo Geo board that supports the MVS pinout is the Rev. 2 fighting board. And this one has two switches underneath to change between JAMMA and MVS. The only thing to take care of with a Rev. 1 mobo are the JST connector...

Re: Hyper Neo Geo 64 JAMMA connection question

If your board has no JAMMA edge at all it's the shooting board which will only be capable to play Beast Busters 2nd Nightmare. As I would assume you want to play the fighting games? You would need the fighting board then. There are two revisions (both have the JAMMA edge and therefor are compatible ...

Re: Cave 68000 and Toaplan version 2 hardware

I don't own any of these games, unfortunately, but can someone tell me if the board dimensions for all the Cave 68000 and all the Toaplan version 2 games are the same for each hardware type? In short: No. There are some games that use the same layout and dimensions but some do differ slightly or ob...

Space Bomber, I'm seeing prices of 300 bucks back 4 years ago. Is it really worth that much?
I'd think it's more of a ~250€ game. Haven't kept track on recent auctions but IIRC the last one on Yahoo was about 20,000 Yen. Hope that helps.

Ok, then it really must be a UK thing as I've shipped several parcels in the last couple of days and didn't encounter any problems. I'm sorry for you guys :( Hopefully that doesn't catch on to other countries as well. I'm still having problems to imagine how the UK customs did pinpoint this down sol...

Re: YAJ Proxy Services - Head to Head!

Well, okay :( Would be the coffin nail for this proxy service in case they remove this 'feature'. Let's see how this evolves. Anyways, it would suck for sure.

Are there other proxies that allow to change the invoice value?

PS: What was your inquiry if I may ask?

UPDATE:

Pretty important one - FromJapan won't let you declare the value of your choice on invoices anymore. You can declare 70% of the item value (not less).
Do you have a source for this? I have two items in their warehouse and I still can declare whichever value I want.

Shou can you tell us something about possible exA-Arcadia merchandise yet? Are you planning to do soundtrack releases on the games? I'm asking since the games on the website specifically mention the composers. Also hoping for a Masaki Izutani extended soundtrack on Daraku Tenshi ;)

If you go to the 'Games' section you can pre-order them and the hardware kit shows up on the cart section then. I'd suppose the Pre-order page just hasn't been built yet.

So why 3000$ on Yahoo instead 600 as you mean ?
Yeah, Yahoo is crazy sometimes. Another example like this would be Daraku Tenshi were one sold for ~$2,000 there and the next one was a lot cheaper (I don't remember the price).

So yeah, it surely went up but maybe not that much imo.
