Re: Power Supply current?

OK, the PSU he bought should be OK except for maybe Cave SH-3, because I don't remember off-hand if it needs 7A or 9A on the 5v line. His 12v is OK, because I don't know of any games where it requires more than 1A. Same is true with the -5v line. Amperage can be thought of as the "strength"...

Yeah... it's too bad an unemployed loser like you has to mar an otherwise nice place.
But go on pretending like your some sort of important; it's provided me with a lot of laughs these past few years.

No problem, I'll be here to annoy you with...

Re: Power Supply current?

Yeah that should be enough. Maybe Cave SH-3 or some really huge boards may need more power but the majority should be fine. 5v is the "important" one for JAMMA, where the Amperage matters. 12v usually only needs around 1A so you rarely if ever need to worry about it. And -5v is mostly for ...

Extremely easy to find. Any decent Home Depot or Lowe's will have them in rather h...

Take the bulb out, take it to your local Home Depot or Lowe's. If they don't have it, fish store.

Re: what a beginner needs to know

Depends. You'll need to check your PSU.
Here's a list of PSUs that could be in your NAC:
