Re: exA-Arcadia

Yes, this is strange. When the crowdfunding campaign started, the PC version was announced to be running in the Vewlix. It's only much later that exA-Arcadia mentions were added. Despite this, there's no exA-Arcadia version as pledge reward. Traditionally, the exA-Arcadia version would sport exclusi...

Quite frankly, no developer in their right mind is thinking "hey, lets invest a couple of million bucks in a new arcade game" right now.

Re: Aka & Blue Type R

@Shou since you’re around, any plans to sell the (few?) remaining Aka&Blue kits to individual customers in Japan via official channels like BEEP or KVCLab? I missed out on the crowdfunding event (and I have enough of one motherboard with the SDOJ LE’s) but still wish to purchase a copy. Unfortunate...

Re: Dodonpachi Saidaioujou EXA LABEL

I think they shipped in random order. Our customers received #45 and #04, both orders were placed at the same time and we received both bundles in the same shipment. I know that a member of this board received #38.

Re: exA-Arcadia

I'd definitely just use the built-in Sega I/O too, if I had a C-Box :) Miniscule lag differences aside, it would just be a lot neater. I'm really happy with my HAS...but by the time you have a separate arcade PSU (and then things like I/Os) - an all-in-one supergun like the C-Box would just be mile...

Re: exA-Arcadia

Yeah, I'm absolutely positive no normal person could ever tell the difference between IOs. We're talking a difference of, I don't know, 4-8ms, at most? The Axun supergun is really cool, however, if you just want one for exA, it is way overkill. Personally I would just grab a Sega Type 1 IO. Those a...

Re: exA-Arcadia

Well, I did write some, not all. If yours gives an accurate +5V reading without anything connected, it's going to be fine. If it doesn't, you could just solder a fat resistor between GND and +5V on the IO. Thanks for clarifying :) Sounds like one of my superguns should definitely be fine without ad...

If he plays on a HD screen, it will look worse than Shikhondo or Aka & Blue for sure. I think I'll put this one in a Naomi.

Re: Dodonpachi Saidaioujou EXA LABEL

I thought we wouldn't see them until next year 😅 I guess that would have been the case with EMS. It's luck really. EMS shipment from Japan to Belgium takes 2 days. BUT it then may stay at Belgian customs for up to 2 months. If you're lucky, your package is not held for inspection and is released di...

Surprised to see that exa mode is alot more manageable than the original mode, was expecting a crushing ultra experience,
does look fun tho :)
EXA mode has adaptive difficulty so it really depends on how well you play.

Re: Dodonpachi Saidaioujou EXA LABEL

None of the CV1000 ports are emulated. I wish SDOJ EXA was an emulator. Good to learn! The ROMs on the discs must've been used for assets only Intresting, I thought the 360 version used 480x640 assets, not the original 240x320 ones. I've never played that version nor exA version yet but comparing e...

Unfortunately, no rotatable screen on these ones, it's their only flaw. What do you mean? There's one at WGC. Didn't you look at the pics  No rotation? Not sure what i would play on them but a row of vewlixes are the only lcd cabs i actually find cool
The Vewlix design is very cool but I prefer Noir HD cabinets as I find them more sturdy and more comfortable to play. Unfortunately, no rotatable screen on these ones, it's their only flaw.
