Re: What <29" cabs use euro-size tubes?

I've replaced my MS2931 in a blast city by a 29" Philips TV, perfect fit inside the frame, tube is 5mm closer to the bezel and requires so adapt it (haven't done it yet).

Re: Worth JTAG-ing XBOX 360 ?

I'd say yes, a jtag-ed 360 is pretty neat. Emulator wise it was already great back in 2011 when I did it on mine. I sold it but kept my CFW ps3 for that reason, great homebrew (and japanese voices on RPGs released in the west).

Re: stepdown converter is giving me ****

Fuses have very low resistance, ideally 0 as it's just a thin wire. You might want to change it. Check the fuse itself, you can see if it is okay (if there's a line going to both ends it's fine, if it's burnt it's not).

Re: Pandora's Box 3 video sync issues

I'd get the official jamma pinout for the pandora, they are notorious for weird ground connections. Did you get a loom adapter for it? I know you mentionned pin 14 is grounded, but you should disconnect grounds the Pandora uses for buttons. Found the jamma pinout: http://www.ukvac.com/forum/uploads/...

Re: Dismantling a Blast City?

From the inspection panel in the back make sure no wire is connected to the side video input (on your right when you look at the chassis from the back).

Re: Need Help!!! Sega Astro City Hyperspin!!

In that case he is clearly not displaying 640*480 and that's the issue.

Boot up the pc with another screen capable of handling at least 800*600 and set up windows to run in 640*480.

Same with jvs PAC, its due to the io board initialization. If the jvs adapter is powered first then you need to reboot it.

Re: JVS-PAC feature requests

Windows by default does not detect DS3 controllers, you have to install drivers and then they will appear. If the drivers work (ds3 tool) then I assume your cronus max will work too.

Trinitron "pure flat" tubes are bigger than regular tubes, get a regular TV instead.

If you want to connect this IO board to a PC, you need a JVS Pac.
