Re: NANAO MS9 CRT replacing

It was not ment as a tutorial, it was just a documented experiment I did to find out what tubes would work. Here's that one: http://www.albyhus2.se/_eget/monitors/Nanao_MS9_CRT_replacement/CRT_nokia/ I'm cannot promise that it will stay on that server forever, but feel free to put this anywhere you ...

Well, that's what you get when you have a bunch of fanatic Japanese with access to discount on RAM chips. Nothing bad can ever come from it.

Some more info here: http://www.gamefaqs.com/arcade/566976-dirt-devils/reviews/28845 "There are four tracks plus one hidden which is unlocked when the game has played a 100 credits. And you have 5 vehicles at your disposal plus one large truck which is unlocked later (not sure how/when). " The truck...

Re: [REL] NAOMI Multi-region BIOS

BOth my NUC and NNC have their CCs connected, I've tried Spawn in both, using the multi-BIOS it freezed on both. And guys, you're welcome to read some earlier posts in this thread. I understand it may be some sort of BIOS compatibility issue, maybe merging another version (perhaps some earlier versi...

Re: Dirt Devils (SEGA 1998)

That boulder, mysterious thing. We need to get to the bottom with that. I don't remember if there's a static routine to it or some variable. But I know it's ... alive. Does it ever drop down?

Re: Dirt Devils (SEGA 1998)

Super catch there, Outrun2. And congrats. How's the force feedback? Does it do well under the Daytona2 motor-board ROM? If not you just swap the ROM for the Sega Rally 2 ROM on the motor board. So now we have one more witness to promote this odd but exciting racing game. I know Andy hates the music,...

Re: [REL] NAOMI Multi-region BIOS

I can program this BIOS for you. PM me your details, I'll get some c160s on ebay and send you.

Postage should be around SEK28 which would be about €3, plus a €1 for the chip.

Re: Emergency Call Ambulance 'Secret' medal?

This game is easily overlooked because it's usually not the center of attention in the arcade. And it's a single player game so groups generally will not notice it unless they are a group of medics on an after work night out. Its theme isn't the most extravagant so most players tend to go for the ma...

Whew! I'm so releaved. Magnus is alive and well. I just now got a reply on my email, and he has been a bit ill this past time, he says, but now he is completely restored. He's currently aiming to update the info on wiki about ECA, mostly focusing on the geographical aspects of the environment such a...

Re: Dirt Devils (SEGA 1998)

Thank you Outrun2. I guess the no-handicap must be a multi-player only feature then. I don't remember any time-attack mode on DD, where lap-times can be polished. And the manual doesn't mention anything about 'no-handicap' either.

Re: Dirt Devils (SEGA 1998)

Thanks. That won't be necessary. .. I try to locate any cigarette burns on top of your dashes, but they like 100% clean, right? Lucky you! I'd personally go for a fully populated vr-bracket with all 4+1 buttons, for Scud Race and the Daytonas. That way you only need this one bracket on your dash. An...

Re: Dirt Devils (SEGA 1998)

A good day in deed. Thank you very much. Now I see that exclusive sticker on the left. Otherwise it is a pretty standard Model3 driving controlpanel. You can use these dashboards for any driving game that uses the SPG-2500 steering mech. Only swap the view-button panel and gearshifter according to g...

Re: Dirt Devils (SEGA 1998)

I see. I didn't realize that DD had custom controlpanels. I guess it does. It only uses one view-button, and a up/dn shifter. Almost too simple. Yes, part number is DRT-1200, only one view-button  Could you please take a few good photos of one of your dashbards, posting them here in this thread?
