I’ve put in maybe 5 hours in the game in between meetings and whatever and I have to say, Tanoshimasu nailed it big time. Like Superpang said earlier, it’s massively fun and it’s hard to find any fault with it. It’s hard, sure, but it’s so fun that I find myself playing just one more credit time aft...

Just got my ver. 1.2 Aka To Blue running in my Vewlix cab and I can’t feel any lag. Feels just like Ketsui or DDP on my CRT cab to me! Don’t have a ton of time with it yet and I haven’t played any of the earlier versions, so you can take this with a grain of salt. Off to play some credits!

Gimmick! is also next on my list - such a cool game to bring to exA!

I second that as well. Not sure how difficult it would be to do but with Game Center’s and collectors holding onto their pcbs, its one that would benefit from another release.

The FC is sitting until I pony up for EXA. The new Cave stuff will be day one purchases, no question.

Thanks for the quick reply, my man. I am super stoked to try it so I might just pick it up shortly (maybe along with Gimmick!) and get the ball rolling over here. And I am beyond stoked for SDOJ EXA. My set up should narrow down the lag to that 4 frames so that's totally doable, at least for me.

Hey all - been around other forums for years - shmups, Cave STG when that was running, written reviews on arcade titles, had a blog forever and finally registered here after being a lurker for a long time.

Has there been any talk of lag reduction in an updated rom or anything? I'm super interested in this game, especially since I bought a Vewlix FC just for the EXA hardware and have been wary because of all the lag talk (maybe more on other forums than here but whatever).
