Re: Dodonpachi Saidaioujou EXA LABEL
Went to preorder today to find it says out of stock. Will there be a restock? It took me this long to get money together orz EDIT: Now it says it's in stock, but the website seems to report a connection error whenever I try to log in... but it connects well enough to know I have an existing account ...

Re: exA-Arcadia
Games have to load once selected; it's not as if they're running in the background, they are started on demand. The load time isn't terribly bad - only 10 seconds or so - but the screen just goes blank or a random color during the loading process, which probably makes a casual observer think they br...

Re: exA-Arcadia
Ok, cool. And yeah, using a Supergun. So if I'm not mistaken, basically all the JVS connection is going to handle at this point is controls, right? Video and audio are separate, and it looks like the PSU is integrated into the Exa Arcadia... kind of a weird setup, but there you go. Correct. The sup...

Re: exA-Arcadia
I think you’re confused in that we developed the game? Sending complaints to us about a game we did not develop is equal to complaining to Microsoft about the lag in a Cave 360 port. We do not make the game. You have an issue with the game. Send your issue to the company who makes the game which is...

Re: Aka & Blue Type R
Also, had a weird dream that from the how to play video, featuring two ships being controlled simultaneously through script, that Tanoshimatsu would make a surprise update and feature 2 player co-op mode (Aka & Blue Dual Mode) as an option. The dream game mode would have UI changes would feature fa...

Re: exA-Arcadia
I can't remember if I mentioned it here or not but the DVI-D port they clearly want us to use (the HDMI port next to it has a rubber plug blocking it) actually does pass HDMI audio if your passive converter populates those pins. I didn't try playing audio from both the video output and the analog RC...

Re: Aka & Blue Type R
Thanks @OlDirty for the vid. Is everyone here running it on a vewlix? I'm wondering if there are pics of it running in 4:3.. I can't buy the game, but I'm curious how they changed the HUD to fit, or if they add wallpaper on the sides. Glad to hear people enjoying it :D I posted a photo of 9:16 in a...

Re: exA-Arcadia
I'm not experiencing any such issue. If you mean it's flipping from horizontal back to vertical, the system level setting (via DIP1) probably takes priority.

Re: Aka & Blue Type R
I've yet to even make it to the stage 2 boss.
I wouldn't be so mad if I could see what's hitting me. Bullets are both too fast and too hard to see.

Re: Konbo arcade cafe, Edinburgh
Anyway, I doubled down on Japanese rhythm games and sitdown racing games. I still need to up my lightgun game count, but those are **** expensive. There aren't a whole ton of rhythm game players (I have maybe ten), but they are super loyal, they will come in month in month out. They are the guys yo...

Re: exA-Arcadia
Auto Quit? This is a very smart move on the developers so that less time is wasted on stand-still in arcades of course. The only thing missing is allowing the player to manually quit, meaning no high score entry and instant game over. Can use existing player start button and hold for about 5 second...

Re: exA-Arcadia
Really wondering what Aka looks like on a horizontal setup. Does it do anything cool like psyvariar where the screen is filled with extra data and fully utilized? Or does it not take advantage of the extra space and just have black bars or static bezel type art? Anyone with the game already should ...

Re: Aka & Blue Type R
So how's the gameplay? I only played the smartphone game for a few minutes. DDP style chaining and chucking bombs at the right moment to cancel bullets? Is close proximity a factor? My quick impression is that you generally graze bullets to charge the bomb meter, then use the fully charged bomb pro...

Re: Aka & Blue Type R
Did people who bought the international version receive any notification that they are not allowed to stream/upload video, or are people just assuming the policy in Japan extends to international markets too? This thing was in the box somewhere: https://i.imgur.com/r6RoMCc.png I missed the mailman ...

No email on my end.
It's a shame, MAGFest just ended yesterday and I really wanted to have A&B there for people to play. I doubt there will be as much hype for it next year.
