Re: Wtb Sega T-13

Chances aren't very high I guess? I find basically nothing about that cocktail.

Wtb Sega T-13

Seems like this will take some time. What are my chances in Europe and what might they go for?

Re: Automatic 15/25khz switching for Nanao MS8/MS9 for everyone - interest check

Wiring 4 cables yourself would be best, that way everybody can wire it to their own liking. Be it a jamma passthrough adapter, straight, to the PSU or whatever. Yeah that's what I think too. It's really basic and self explanatory. You need 5v. 12v. Ground. Sync. All easily available on the Jamma pl...

Re: Automatic 15/25khz switching for Nanao MS8/MS9 for everyone - interest check

I came to the conclusion that a Jamma adapter indeed could be problematic. I think that asking to wire 4 cables to the Jamma plug is not too much. In the end this is an advanced modification. There are so many different plugs it would be impossible to cover that. You could of course get the parts an...

im interested if you can get this to work with jamma also. But i would also be interested in for emulation too. Put me on list
This will most definitely work with Jamma! We will test it with someone from the forum who has all the original hardware to check and help us fine-tune.

Re: Automatic 15/25khz switching for Nanao MS8/MS9 for everyone - interest check

Hi. We decided not to integrate the automatic degauss. After some talk with Winnie, who is a CRT tech for 40 years, we came to the conclusion that we put totally unnecessary stress to the degauss circuit. Degaussing needs to be done so rarely that we find pressing the button in the cabinet is good e...

Re: Automatic 15/25khz switching for Nanao MS8/MS9 for everyone - interest check

I could indeed install a switch for deactivating the power on/off relay for the crt. That would give full flexibility.

Re: Automatic 15/25khz switching for Nanao MS8/MS9 for everyone - interest check

The harness is basically the same as with the fingerboard, only the ends will be prepared to be soldered to the Jamma connector. If you would use the monitor without the Jamma connections we need, the Monitor would simply not turn on because we interrupt the 100VAC to the monitor to be able to shut ...

Re: Automatic 15/25khz switching for Nanao MS8/MS9 for everyone - interest check

I would like to know, how you guys would prefer to interface with the board. We need 12V, 5V, Ground and Sync. 1. Use a presoldered/produced JAMMA fingerboard 2. Deliver with harness, so people can hook it up to their existing Jamma harness (4 cables, very simple soldering, but equiptment is require...

Re: Automatic 15/25khz switching for Nanao MS8/MS9 for everyone - interest check

Thanks guys. I already made a relay based circuit that will allow you to have an automatic degauss when you boot up the machine and keeps the manual button in working order.

A dipswitch will allow you to disable the automatic mode completely.

Re: Automatic 15/25khz switching for Nanao MS8/MS9 for everyone - interest check

Thank you for the pic, what I meant is that there is a button for degauss on the cabinets PSU. I was wondering if this button is directly connected to the chassis or if it has its own circuit in the power supply.

Re: Automatic 15/25khz switching for Nanao MS8/MS9 for everyone - interest check

I always thought the "T" stood for Taito, as it was in all the E2 cabs. It's possible someone swapped the chassis in that Tecmo NAC. Same- all my E2s have come with the "T" chassis. Will this auto switcher work for regular jamma games too? Gradius IV and the model stuff? Yes, we are making it compl...

Re: Automatic 15/25khz switching for Nanao MS8/MS9 - interest check

I'm not so sure either now after googling a bit earlier, it looks like [ brad808 has three auto switching chassis ]. I've not seen many myself but it's not really something you notice unless you're looking for it. I'll ping @opt2not and see if he can help out with a MS9 revision number to search fo...

Re: Automatic 15/25khz switching for Nanao MS8/MS9 - interest check

We could actually add auto degaussing. Any interest in that? Egret 2s auto degauss on startup, so any idea how it would interact with that? You would not hook it up then. But I was talking to our CRT Tech and he doesn't get what this would be usefull for. The only reason to degauss is when you turn...

Re: Automatic 15/25khz switching for Nanao MS8/MS9 - interest check

I didn’t know they were so rare, I bought one last year from a guy in France who sells recapped MS9 chassis, and I’m using it in my Egret 2. Will still be interested by your solution though. I'm not so sure either now after googling a bit earlier, it looks like [ brad808 has three auto switching ch...
