Re: Cannot get a RGB > VGA converter to work.
You’re using an RGB to VGA converter? And you’ve checked that’s powered correctly?

Re: Your Arcade "To Do" Checklist
Restoring a Neo Candy 29 I just got. Dings and paint I don’t look forward to, but parts may scare me more. Lots of missing M4s, but also a piano hinge for the CP, a back panel for the marquee, and another plastic handle for the back.
Never mind the missing monitor

Re: Power King Candy Cab?
Very little documentation I can find for Korean cabs. This one looks like a knockoff of a NAC, even using Sega panels, but that's about all I can tell.

Back of the motherboard with the PSU plugged in and powered on. From the picture, it's CN1.

Re: J-pac for fightcade.
Keep in mind, the OP originally stated wanting a setup for Fightcade. While most if not all of the basic information on building a computer for emulation use in this thread is the same whether using GroovyMAME or Fightcade, the latter is an emulator to get online and play against others.

Re: ps classic mini
Couldn’t resist, got one for 36 squids... Arriving Tuesday. Gonna get ready for Ps1 on my 4K tv... lovely... Actually, me, neither. My wife wanted to get me an Easter gift, and I said sure. Figure I'll hack it to say I did it, and put it aside after I play a few rounds of 60hz fighting/shmups games...

Re: CPS2 B-Board dead?
Take a blank eprom, write Razoola's suicide test on it and replace rom 03 with the one you just wrote. Power it on. If it suicided and is physically ok the test will launch and the first music will be played. Diagnostic results of basic tests will be displayed on the screen. Faults on the A board c...

Re: ps classic mini
Any reason to get this if I have a modded PSP, PSV, PSTV, and PS3?
I think it's safe to say no, but having no experience with the Classic, there may be something I'm missing.

Re: ps classic mini
Hackers to the rescue. This is apparently now a really good emulation device with better specs than a (S)NES Classis or a Raspberry Pi. There's two exploits available: https://modmyclassic.com/bleemsync/ https://github.com/screemerpl/cbleemsync/blob/master/README.md PS1 and PSP emulation is suppose...

Re: supergun rolling picture / sync problems
It's probably not the refresh rates.
Are the PCBs getting 5v, or thereabouts? Does the CRT have any issues with other vertical games, or even horizontal games when the CRT is rotated? I wonder if the CRT has issues with the rotation.
