Re: Demag circuit not working on NAC MS9-29A

I'm not at home just now to check but hazarding a guess I'd say the top one.

Not sure if this http://www.neo-arcadia.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=47788 is a similar issue to what I'm having, if all the wiring checks out.

Re: Demag circuit not working on NAC MS9-29A

Well I put a momentary switch on the wiring and still nothing. Continuity all checks out on connectors and wiring.

Any other ideas?

Re: Demag circuit not working on NAC MS9-29A

Thanks

Thats given me a little more confidence in being able to narrow down the issue knowing it's most likely wiring.

Demag circuit not working on NAC MS9-29A

I got a NAC a few weeks back and after cleaning it all out the next thing to address is the demag/degauss circuit. I've mostly cleared the issue on the monitor with a degaussing wand but I'd rather sort the circuit than rely on that permanently. I've been all over here trying to find a definitive gu...

rancor had a stack of Capcom, SEGA & Taito tokens too.

I would guess that you will need to adjust the coin mech if using something that's not incredibly close to a ¥100 coin.
Thought there may be some sort of adjustment needed but they're pretty close so it could be minimal.

100 Yen coin substitute

Was having a look on Arcade World for some new buttons and ended up coming across these tokens. https://www.arcadeworlduk.com/products/pack-of-20-x-23mm-brass-flat-tokens.html Anyone used them as 100 Y substitutes? the size seems to be pretty close give or take 0.04mm and 0.01mm of a difference. I w...

I'm still waiting on Martin getting enough work up in Scotland to get my NAC delivered so winning this would give him some extra incentive ;-)

Re: Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection

I had heard of a few people eradicating lag on the 8bitdo's by doing a firmware upgrade.

Don't shoot the messenger if it doesn't help but it's worth a shot.

Re: Best Raspi emu frontend for clean, single system emulation

Hyperpie mostly uses attract mode as its basis and has had some serious amounts of work done on it. You can get it from their forum as well as arcade punks, i think they still host the base image. Its definitely worth considering.
