Thanks, I have the cable for an extender harness, but there's like 10 power wires going to the Naomi. How do I put a switch on that?

Re: Adding a Power Switch to Sega Naomi Console

I don't understand why the IO would be supplying power for the controls on the Dreamcast side. There's some kind of goof in the wiring. Anyway, if you need the JVS IO powered, I would solve this by putting a cheap 5V 3A PSU to power the IO separately. Just remember to tie the grounds of both PSUs t...

Adding a Power Switch to Sega Naomi Console

Hi guys, I've recently converted my NNC to play both Naomi and dreamcast.. And it's great. However I have one issue I haven't figured a solution to without just unplugging the Naomi entirely from the cab. I want to be able to turn off/on the Naomi without turning off the cab. 1) to just play dreamca...

Re: Naomi Arcade Button Layout?

Thankyou

I've seen some say

1 2 3
4 5 6

Or

4 5 6
1 2 3

Or even

2 3 4
1 5 6

I'm sure I can work around any of these. But wondered if there is an official right way for Naomi games (which I know many aren't 6 button)?

Re: Toshiba PF Extended Service Menus

Stupid me, i was getting confused which monitor was which. I hadn't been able to access that menu before. But basically I found out the Toshiba Pe0493 chassis doesn't have a digital geometry setting. It's pots on the chassis. It does allow access to the colour menu with the hacked remote board thoug...

Re: Toshiba PF Extended Service Menus

PS have now tried 3 different remote boards, all work with everything except the geometry settings button, which does nothing since moving this cab over.

I've also tried different remote control wire, to no avail.

Any help appreciated

Toshiba PF Extended Service Menus

Hi guys, I recently moved my tosh PF tri sync tube/chassis over to a different New Net City, and all of a sudden I can't access geometry service menu. The extended colour menu works fine, just not this. I've tried both my hacked remote board. And a custom built one I got from eBay. Both to no avail....

Re: Super Neo 29 Type II (Hyper Neo 64) Question.

So whilst the Jamma power cable is being made, I bought a hyper 64 to test. It has no connector for the extra 5v (should it have?) ...there is 5.1v coming through the Jamma edge. But I can't tell if it is powering the board as I still get a white screen :-( Any help appreciated Adam https://imgur.co...

Thanks, the 8-pin cable I already had spare from my NNC. I spent hours yesterday trying to find the 4 pin connector on google to no avail.

Any idea what they are called?

Thanks

Super Neo 29 Type II (Hyper Neo 64) Question.

Hi guys, First time setting this up.. So I understand this variant is set up for hyper 64. However I don't have hyper64 system to test. So I tried a 6-slot mvs.. 4 slot mvs and a Pandora jamma board to no avail. I only get a white screen... Is this normal using said boards? If I buy a hyper64 system...
