Could you create a Raiden Fighters NAC marquee with this main artwork?

And a Mars Matrix NAC marquee with this artwork/design base:

Toshiba A68KJU96X 31khz - > 15khz

I've bought a pretty badly burned Nanao MS9 with a Tosh A68KJU96X tube this weekend as a spare. I found out that the burn free Nanao MS2932 from my Naomi Uni Con is supposed to have the exact same tube. Would it be possible to transplant the MS9 together with its yoke to the 2932 tube? Any difficult...

Re: Tosh A68KJU96X Nanao MS8 not working - technical help needed

I will receive another MS8 with remote in 1-2 weeks.
My technical knowledge is far from being a professional, but if it won't be either of the already swapped parts (chassis, yoke and soon remote board), what's left?

Re: Tosh A68KJU96X Nanao MS8 not working - technical help needed

Here we go again... Thanks to yosai, I was able to source down a Nanao compatible yoke pretty quickly. Unfortunately the failure image stays pretty much the same: https://imgur.com/a/SbWCFnJ It's really no fun anymore, 2 chassis, 2 yokes, 2 times the same failure?! Oh and of course I've cross checke...

Re: Tosh A68KJU96X Nanao MS8 not working - technical help needed

That doesn't sound good...
Would you say the monitor can be repaired?
Are the measured Ohms in a "regular" range?

Re: Tosh A68KJU96X Nanao MS8 not working - technical help needed

Just measured the yoke:
Yellow & Green: 5,7 Ohms
Red & Blue: 0,6 Ohms

Here's a picture of the shown line:

If I adjust the remote potis, the chassis shuts down the high voltage.

Re: Tosh A68KJU96X Nanao MS8 -> MS9 swap

The never ending story continues...😡 I've tried two different MS9's with the matching adapter cables. Absolutely nothing. No signs of life. Then I've tried again the old, probably faulty, Sanwa chassis. I've received nothing but a white horizontal line this time. Not even a flickering picture anymor...

Re: Tosh A68KJU96X Nanao MS8 -> MS9 swap

Have you plugged in the AC wires from the 15-pin AMP UP connector to the chassis? Take a pic of the chassis as it is wired now. Here we go, is everything plugged in correctly nem? Tried it again with the monitor out and theres really nö sign of voltage. I've tested the cab with another (faulty) cha...

Re: Tosh A68KJU96X Nanao MS8 -> MS9 swap

Oh boy, I need some further advice unfortunately...
I've attached the MS9 chassis with the adapter cable from PrincessPrinPrin to my tube and: nothing.
No neck glow, no static, absolutely dead.
Everything is plugged in, so where should I start? What could be the reason? Chassis dead?

Re: Tosh A68KJU96X Nanao MS8 -> MS9 swap

Again, thanks a lot PrincessPrinPrin :)

The last thing that troubles me, is the 6-pin plug coming from the PSU:

The plug doesn't match unfortunately, could I just cut it away and solder the cable to the pins? Or does anyone know which female plug I need for the MS9 PCB?
