For me, Final Fight ia a tough nut to crack. I can reach Abigail in one CC (usually with the last life) and that's it.

For fighting games, I remember that KOF 96 was very hard to 1 cc because of Goenitz cheapness.

Re: Easiest/hardest games to 1cc?

Golden Axe is still one of my favs, at least a 2 loop game everytime it gets fired up. Short and sweet.

Re: Easiest/hardest games to 1cc?

It's been said a few times already but Metal Slug 3 is ridiculously hard to 1cc, it's more a credit feeder than a game designed to be 1cc'd, though there is a youtube video out there of it being done. I'm a fan of MS6 which has a bit more of the mechanics of MS and is doable, yet I havent been able...

Re: Meanwell RT-125A

And nem, by the way yeah I measured it from the board itself with my DMM, which works fine, but that isn't really the point. Can you please measure the voltage from the PSU? One meter lead on the screw terminal for GND, the other on +5V. On all 5 of them? Yeah I don't think the amperage of the PSU ...

Re: Meanwell RT-125A

Yeah I'm seriously at a loss here. Is the MVS 4 Slot power consumption a little quirky, quirky enough that it screws up with whatever failsafe measure the Meanwell has (if it has one)? And nem, by the way yeah I measured it from the board itself with my DMM, which works fine, but that isn't really t...

Re: Meanwell RT-125A

Haha yes, in all of those. I mean I just used 5 different MW PSUs on my MVS 4 Slot. All which gave readings lower than 4.5v even with the voltage pot cranked all the way up, which in turn would not make the board run. Something is up. I mean it can't ALL be bad potentiometers on all the PSUs right? ...

Re: Meanwell RT-125A

I have two of them. I bought them years ago and I haven't had any issues. You could put additional load on the other rails to see if it performs better. Anyway, the PSU that I would go for now is the RT-85A. Seems to work with everything so far, even stuff that consumes very little power like the 1...

Meanwell RT-125A

So I bought a bunch of Meanwell PSUs because I was told that this was the best modern quality stuff to use with my arcade pcbs. And it's not working. It barely outputs 5v out of the 5v line, even cranked all the way up for my MVS 4 Slot. What gives? Heck even my crummy 12 dollar 7 amp PSU I got off ...

Tube yes, but what is the yoke reading?

Edit: assuming it came with a yoke attached and you don't have a tube already existing for your chassis. If not, a yoke swap is in order, if the reading is not compatible.

WISE FWOM YOUR GWAVE.

I just thought I'd resurrect this to add in Megaman The Power Battle as the easiest 1cc ever. Should it even be called a game?

Holy crap, I was just getting on here today to check to see if there's a thread on this because I just played this game. Glad to see no one's gone to the 2nd loop yet. Haha.

Re: Under appreciated arcade gems

Street Fighter It seems to be remembered as Street Fighter 2’s dirty grandad but no one really gets it anymore. It was all about the challenge of doing the special moves, which really were special. Extremely powerful, satisfying and hard to master - that was the point. Now it’s just known as having...

Re: Under appreciated arcade gems

You make me want to and get an Atomiswave. I might need to complete my MS collection. As for underappreciated gems, 100% I'd have to say Wardner aka Pyros. This game snuck up on me. I got it via a lot which included Bad Dudes, Dino Rex, Hammerin Harry, Psychic 5, and the guy was trying to sell it fo...
