Re: Retro Daily repro stickers

I've been trying to look for someone to do the whole blast set but I've had no luck. I did come across those decals you've posted and I wanted to make the purchase due to the Sega one, but I'm hoping someone else can make a full set of the blast city ones. Does the key one decal only come as 1? I be...

Re: Recommended Starter Cabinet for CPS2, 3, Naomi

A blast city would be the most *ideal* cab to get for all three systems being a tri sync. Now the biggest challenge you will face with a blast city is a couple of things: - Monitor. Not many people will do maintenance on a 2930 (analogue tri sync which you have to manually sync via dip switches) or ...

Re: NAMCO NOIR with taito type x2 problem IO HELP!!!

My two didn't all have a coin pcb - I thought the coin pcbs are normally tied to your coin mech. One had a coin pcb and another one of mine didn't. What they did all have is a 4 way JST connector for GND, 12v and P1 coin. I used those to connect a cheap electronic coin mech for use of Namco tokens. ...

Re: NAMCO NOIR with taito type x2 problem IO HELP!!!

I don't have a ttx2 on mine, but I do have a ttx3. I haven't come across the issue you're having with my NAJV2. The only difference is, I plug my USB from the bottom PCB (the pass through one), not directly from the back like you have. it shouldn't make a difference, but it might be worth trying - I...

Diamond Black

I'm not too sure about the Diamond Orange.

Alternatively, you could get one of the older ones and get the bracket from hadouken-arcade to fit your own monitor.

Re: Time Crisis boot loop

Was it like this?

I went through 2x super system 22 sets to find a decent DSP board.

Once I got a working DSP board, mine now boots fine

Re: Chewlix C (Chinese Vewlix Capcom)

If you can afford the Original, get the original. The build on the original vs a clone is quite a difference (I don't have a vewlix, but I'm basing my comments off a Naomi Universal and Universal Clone, a Noir and a Noir clone). With that said, it's all about $$$ at the end of the day right? Here in...

Re: Chewlix C (Chinese Vewlix Capcom)

Thought I should give provide an update on my Chewlix adventures :) Not much has changed since December 2018 as per my post https://forum.arcadeotaku.com/viewtopic.php?p=505984#p505984 until recently :D I made a purchase of a Taito Type X3 (still in transit and won't be with me until November or so)...

Re: Chewlix C (Chinese Vewlix Capcom)

Brook has become a global standard of pcbs for the fgc..

I don't think anyone will be dropping their pcbs on a new company that hasn't proven themselves just yet.

Don't get me wrong, competition is good, but I for one, won't be dropping my pcbs :)

Re: Chewlix C (Chinese Vewlix Capcom)

They've come a long way now... They have different coloured marquees and panels, they're no longer just the black and grey L colour scheme.

The sides black bits are now chrome.

To answer your question, I've always liked the C colour scheme.

The post above tells you where to get it.

I didn't make it, but when I purchased it, I didn't have the file to begin it. So I'm not actually able to share it.

CPS2 A board freezing

Thought I'd reach out on these forums with the recent cps2 issue I seem to be having. I've purchased a couple cps2 a and b sets (Ssf2 and xmen vs), one set is working perfectly fine, the other set seems to have an odd behaviour where it freezes no matter what b board is installed. I've tested 4 diff...

Re: PS2 Guncon2 PCB to Original Namco Arcade Gun mod

As mentioned to you on messenger, the tc4 gun is totally different to the way the original TC gun works. They are not the same and cannot be adapted - well I don't believe there's been anyone that has done it. The tc4 is designed for lcd screens whilst the original TV gun is designed for CRT. I unfo...

Re: Xbox 360 in an Astro City?

I'm sure there's many ways to get 240p from the 360. I just don't think they'll be too cheap, although I can pretty much guarantee that it'll be cheaper than the cost of one cave pcb :) 480i isn't too bad from my experience, but you will notice some flickering especially at menus. If you get the off...

I can't believe how cheap yours came in at! I'd be tempted to purchase another one at that price and have a dedicated HD Tate cab

Have to agree... old games just isn't the best on a modern LCD. Maybe if you go OSSC it may look OK?
