Re: Bucky O Hare pcb 200 euros!!! SOLD

Haha man, why do we insist on hoarding all this decaying crap again? :lolno: Oh well, at least I’m (psychologically) prepared for the process/damage now. Kind of fills me with dread, though – given that I eventually still want Metamorphic Force and Xexex (on top of what I already have). Maybe I can ...

Re: Bucky O Hare pcb 200 euros!!! SOLD

Sorry, slightly off topic  But what's the advised protocol with hybrid modules? Is it best to wait for them to fail before swapping them out? Or - a bit like M92 ELNA caps - is it best to just change them asap? My Moo Mesa was thankfully already refurbed by Caius when I bought it...but I have...

Re: Items spotted on eBay

I'd probably be selling one of my BVMs and buying that HTM-1990R in heartbeat - if It wasn't nearly 250 miles away

Re: Items you can't afford on Yahoo Japan Auctions

I’m so lazy when I fire up Mame these days, I tend to just stagger through with the keyboard. Probably less of a handicap than playing with closed eyes…but that’s the excuse I’m going with :P

Re: Items you can't afford on Yahoo Japan Auctions

Hadn't actually realised there were different revisions. Seems like I've been playing the harder revision in Mame. Although I'm sure I'll probably still suck at the easier revision, too

Re: WTB: Battle Garegga + Battle Bakraid

Rapidly dawning on me that we're clearly chasing all the same stuff!

All out of cash right now, anyway...but could be interested in that 3 Wonders further down the line, if you decide to sell :)

And good luck with your search

Re: Items you can't afford on Yahoo Japan Auctions

Had a feeling this Squawkers would sell for a lot less. Still about twice as much as I'd consider dropping on one, though

Re: Items you can't afford on Yahoo Japan Auctions

To be fair, the last auction I won from Kumachan I won for the opening bid  This just seemed almost unbelievably high, though…but I guess if enough hardcore collectors were fighting over it, anything’s possible. I always figured Squawkers was extremely rare – but not so sought after/in demand ...

Re: Items you can't afford on Yahoo Japan Auctions

Surely! Although with all the nutty prices these days, it's hard to know. Still, given that this will now become the ‘new price’ for one – I think it’s time I scrubbed it off my want list

Re: Items you can't afford on Yahoo Japan Auctions

JJ Squawkers: https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/s623669388 Anyone know what the last one sold for on YAJ? I saw this the other day, and did consider bidding. However, having bought far too much other stuff recently already, I'm beginning to think it's probably a suicide mission to even c...

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread

Personally, I’d say 800 EUR would be the upper end for a mint Japanese board. A mint one went for 600 EUR about a year ago on shmups…and one sold in the last few months for 94,000-ish JPY (with art) on suruga-ya. Razza also sold one for 600 EUR earlier in the year – although it’s safe to say that on...

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread

Bare ketsui pcb price ? I'd say $1000-1100. I saw one sell here for $1000 (I think) last December; one sell for $1050 earlier in the year on Shmups; and there's one for $1100 on Shmups now (currently unsold). At the other end of the spectrum - the crazy, 165,000 Yen copy at suruga-ya also appears t...
