Beside the not so good monitor, the Ok Baby locks attractive to me.
After playing some hours on the Baby i noticed the angle from the Tube.
The angle is more flat then the Japanese candys (steep).

I took the chair a little bit higher, so for me it is ok.

Re: What type of sealant is used for securing screw-type buttons?

You guys know what I'm talking about? There's always a red glob of sealant from the facotry, like Loc-Tite or RTV, which is securing the button so it doesn't unscrew over time on the underside of the CP. Anybody know what that sealant is? On the weekend i made a Namco Arcade Stick Sanwa MOD. There ...

The Cab is not 100% done but i am very happy with it.
Paint job on the side is not perfect, but its ok for me.

When i have time i will edit the chassis holder and the coin sticker.

Re: Little Restauration for OK Baby Cab

The bigger connectors usually work well with buttons that has the smaller bits. If you have a spare Japanese button, try it. Thank you for your Tip. I got new Seimitsu Buttons and they fits very good with the bits. Next step: The old Coin-sticker was not my Taste , so i put the Astro Sticker and ed...

Re: Little Restauration for OK Baby Cab

I see, so basically, you need a new monitor/ tv for it. I heard TV chasis on such a short distance weren't that good. Can you tell the difference from the Nanao? Yes. For the Chassis i consider two possibilities: Take a metal plate in cartons (for electromagnetic shielding) or Cut of the chassis ho...

Sanwa stopped making buttons with the larger connectors years ago, and I don't think Seimitsu ever even made them.
Yes this is the only way now. Checked the Happ Buttons today, they have the 4,8mm but they need other holes .

Re: Little Restauration for OK Baby Cab

Don't you think some new buttons would also be nice?! The color of the old ones are noticably bleched. I totally agree with you, last time i wanted to order some seimatsu buttons, but they are all with 2,8 mm connectors. My plugs are with 4,8mm, before i change all plugs i will check some other but...
