Re: Naomi Nanao 2932 yoke

2931 yoke can't achieve perfect convergence. If anyone has a yoke for 2932 from a busted tube, I'd be ahppy happy take it. Tube is a Toshiba A68KJU96X

Re: 2932 replacing yoke and convergence

Ok, thats very helpful. According to that image I should tilt it sideways to make the red and blue grid a bit bigger. The problem is if I take the yoke away from the tube to allow some wiggle, the color goes full rainbow, to a extent it seemed too much for the purity rings. Will try to see if the pu...

Re: 2932 replacing yoke and convergence

I did resit the yoke to where color purity seems ok, and the grid was somewhat decent, still have the same issue. Changed the convergence rings for the pens that were in the tube before, no luck. It's like the red beam is smaller than the others, on the bottom of the screen it is above the green one...

Re: 2932 replacing yoke and convergence

So I had to throw away the yoke for the 2932 in my Naomi, for some reason the image kept flickering like half synch issue hald vertical colapse. I have installed a new yoke (from a 2931), but now I can't seem to get the image right, first of all I cant get a pure red, blue or green image to check t...

Re: 2932 replacing yoke and convergence

That's actually true,
I didn't remove the previous wedges. How do you know it is not properly placed? Or how will I know when it is properly placed?

Naomi Nanao 2932 yoke

So I am trying to fit a 2931 yoke on a 2932 monitor, but it has been trcky so far. If I can find a 2932 yoke and safe myself the hassle all the better. If anyone has one and is willing to part with it let me know.

Thanks!

Sega cabs, Neo 19, Cute repros

I still have some Sega cab CP left, they are powder coated stainless steel with bolts for the joysticks (Sanwa and Seimitsu) and thick glossy overlay (Naomi and Blast Models have only holes for joysticks and start buttons precut, astro has none). Price per CP is 60, plus shipping (please let me know...

Re: Naomi nanao yoke

I took it to the technician, and he repaired the monitor, but when I took it back it still had the same issue. I took the chasis and tube this time and he said it was the yoke. If it was the yoke what did he repair the first time around? Exactly... He said he changed some stuff, what can I ...

Re: Any MVS-U4 Owners Out There

Are 1p and 2p buttons wired differently in this cab? I have a MVS-u4, and those buttons don't work when I plug in a Pandora or an MVS1.

Re: Painted AC stripping the paint

I used what I think in english is called an orbital sander for the bigger parts and then used a paint stripper gel for the hard to reach areas (the ones still white in the second photo) it was not harmful for the plastic. https://i.imgur.com/JHXdq0f.png?1 https://i.imgur.com/yjMIQWH.png?1 This is r...

Re: Painted AC stripping the paint

Yes, seems the only option, I was wondering if there was any chemical product that could remove the paint and leave the surface untouched, problem is I don't know what material is are these candies finished with.
