Re: Deathsmiles low volume

Meaning horrible like cheap radio speakers (the ones that come with Egret 3). Is there any direct replacement for them?

By the way, thanks to yosai for pointing out where is the volume pot. That fixed it! (never thought that was a pot) :)

Re: Deathsmiles low volume

That's right, in the test menu there is a sound option.
The volume is set there to 100 value, which I believe is the highest.

Deathsmiles low volume

I've got a deathsmiles PCB that sounds very low compared to other cave games.
My cabinet is an Egret 3, other games sound horrible too but at least at a decent volume.
Is this PCB just faulty?

Thanks!

Re: Replacing Egret 3 monitor

That sync link was the problem!
Just unplugged it and it worked :) Also changed VGA to 15 input on monitor chassis.

Could you please detail the differences between both input connectors?

Thanks for all your help.

Re: Replacing Egret 3 monitor

It's a Toshiba D29C051 multisync monitor. Works both 15kHz and 31kHz if the input source is the PC.
Using same VGA cable plugged into VGA connector on the cabinet and using a 15kHz Jamma game the monitor fails to lock, displaying vertical / diagonal lines, so I don't know where the problem could be.

Replacing Egret 3 monitor

Thanks to monouchi & Videotronics finally I could buy a Tosh PF monitor to replace the crappy Wei-Ya one in my Egret 3 cabinet. It was a little tricky for me, since It's needed to remove all the metal structure of the monitor and put it into the cabinet in 2 parts: tube and chassis. It's working gre...

Re: Which second candy should I buy?

Many thanks for your replies! I am overwhelmed with all this info :awe: Looking at the difference between them in @Stompp pic, I don't really mind they don't match together or have different monitor view angle. The only thing I really care about is the monitor quality: if it looks blurry, out of syn...

Which second candy should I buy?

Hi, Recently I had the idea of buying a second candy cab for playing at home. Already have a Sega Naomi converted to NNC with Nanao MS2930 tri monitor which I use for Naomi games (31Khz) and some PCBs (15Khz). I really like these AWSD and E3, because they are easy to find in good conditions, but the...

Re: Introduce yourself here!

I am new here and would like to say Hi and Thanks to everyone who made this excellent forum (admins and users).

Currently I've got 2 Sega Naomis: one is half restored, the other is a complete mess!
