Re: WTD someone to convert cps2 boards for fee

Aren't F and G boards interchangeable without modification? Or do you need to mod an F to make a G but not vice versa?

Re: Step-down for cab

I use these.

https://airlinktransformers.com/product ... -uk-ja1000

I use one of them for 2 Astro's. It's overkill but the 1000va ones have surge limiters.

Said it’s in the terms. I’ve checked the terms and I can’t see anything that says that. I’ve asked for the location of tho...

Pretty sure I'm being ignored. I've sent 6 emails from 2 different email addresses over the last few weeks. :(

It's worth checking. FWIW, I've had 2 Astro's, both with the Toshiba tube, one was an MS8, the other was an MS9.

Did anyone get their deposits back from SMJ? They’ve ignored all of my emails.

Without trying to steer to far off topic...

I had a bundle of posters opened by customs once and then just stuffed back in badly rolled once they realised it wasn't anything dodgy. It creased the **** out of the edges of it :( :problem:

All well when it's a £40 game, but £3000+ is no joke.

I assume they’re refunding all deposits as a matter of course then.

Bad news if SMJ are going. Hopefully I'll get my deposit back, only $90, but I don't really want to just lose it.

Re: You've Got Grail! The Valuation Thread

I used to see the odd knackered or untested one for sale on Jamma+ when it was still around. Don't think I've ever seen a working one for sale though.

I don't think so, I'll check in now for you.

Edit, No dice, tried 4 different A001 style Sega coin box locks and the A001 didn't budge any of them.

The video says it closed last month :(

It was one of the arcades on my list for when I finally get to Japan, shame it's gone, although I think the decor might have creeped the Mrs. out a bit too much

Re: Espgaluda Scoring

What? Button 4 is already full auto. And if you hold down C+D while pressing start, you get full auto on C and barrier on button D, IIRC. If you're positioned in the top 20% of the screen, you always get more gems, can't remember if this applies to the gold as well. The most important thing though ...

Re: Espgaluda Scoring

You get points for lives left at the end of the game, so it’s not worth losing a life for a few extra gems. Those super players are a different level to most people. I watched one earlier and on stage 1 he hit nearly 4m points, if I get 1.6m it’s a good run!

you need to know when you’ve nearly killed the enemy.
Is that when they say "discount mayonnaise"?
  there’s some dire voice samples in that game. What is it the first boss says? Sounds like “irresponsible fools” in a robotic voice then she shouts “don’t try to **** me off”
