Re: Dedicated Cosmic Smash machines in excistence

Great game! Johnbud on Jammaplus and ukvac has a dedicated cab. I find it really strange that a niche game had a 'dedicated' cab in that they painted it black and it had it's own artwork. Giz10p did have (maybe still does) NOS overlay panels for the game.

Re: FFS Nasty Electric Shock from Astro City!

Looks to me like it may be vertical sync related. What monitor is it as there will be a little pot to adjust? HOWEVER before messing I would ensure that everything is connected correctly, you may have dislodged something slightly when rotating the monitor. Best thing to do is unplug from the mains, ...

Re: naomi error 31 issues

Pretty sure Error 31 is an easy fix as geotrig has pointed out. When I netboot (not done it in a while) I'm sure its the communication between the board and chip that's being broken

Re: BBC 2 right now!!! 'Collectaholics' Arcade collector!

I'm lucky to live 15 minutes away from Arcade Club and have thoroughly enjoyed it every time. It's an excellent atmosphere and women and children friendly. After it was on tv my girlfriend ended up coming and spent the night between Hard Drivin and Ms Pacman, she loved it. Having pinball always cont...

Go into the service menu by pressing the black button on the naomi motherboard. Check what settings it has for credits as this may need changing.

Mario Sunshine HD :palm: I loved Sunshine :D Also anyone read the Ian Bogost's bit about Nintendo in this months Edge mag? He's a bit of a tool 'Nintendo's moments of crisis offer an excuse to act out this anxiety in public. We secretly want Nintendo to fail, so we can move on at long last, so we c...

It would really benefit from a new JAMMA loom (only one +5v line, eek!) and replacement bezel to better suit the profile of the monitor I reckon so probably near the low end of what Spectre said.

The monitor doesn't hold a charge. obviously you need to be careful but I've taken off a few chassis and never had a problem. Taking the suction cup off is always a little nerve-racking though :wtf:

Yeah it's just above the degauss row of buttons with about 5 knobs on it. This is attached to the left side of the monitor near the vga input. Make sure it is firmly in place on both ends.

MMMM just thought I've read somewhere that the remote board could be at fault. Check if it is attached to the monitor properly - it may well be damaged - I have a spare you welcome to try mate.

I take it this was the one off ebay. I thought he was a bit shifty as I asked him a few questions and he never got back to me and there is no pic of the monitor working in any of the pics :problem: . Send Grantspain a PM and see what he suggests.
