Re: SOLUTION: Windows controllers flipping between Player 1 and Player 2.

I was looking round the whole internet for a solution to this but nothing - I can't believe it was here all along! I spent ages trying to get briankendall / devreorder to work but I wasn't even sure it was going to cover all my use cases - your method worked great though. I was having issues with my...

Re: Current Arcade Situation in Tokyo

Really interesting to hear about the situation in the arcades there, I keep watching the NHK news, but besides MORE people wearing masks it doesn't ever appear much is happening. Always think it would be awful if COVID got its claws into Japan before a vaccine with such a high proportion of elderly ...

Re: RetroBrighting Impress.

Has anyone actually done this - I was under the impression it was UV sunlight that causes yellowing - isn't this just a big troll?

Re: SFV: Arcade Edition Coming to Japan Arcades in 2019

I agree the CPs and units look awful in orange (sorry HL2 fans)... but the the screens look super sharp and vibrant to me, it might just be the camera...but I wonder if its a new model monitor, 4K HDR anyone??

Re: How do i get my ps4 sound on a vewlix?

I've done this with a Digital optical to Analog 3.5mm converter very cheaply and effectively. Many available on amazon and ebay as below. https://www.amazon.com/Musou-Digital-Optical-Converter-Adapter/dp/B01AWBA8U8/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1469435613&sr=8-4&keywords=Optical+to+Analog It's ...

Re: JVS-PAC feature requests

Afraid that would open up a pandoras box of support requests.. People are already asking for remapped keys etc because a FRONT-END doesn't like the default mame keys - IMO those requests should go to the authors of the front-end and not the hardware guy :) Same with button remap, it's a software th...

Re: JVS-PAC feature requests

yes and no, the one originally planned for the latest batch was pulled because it had issues - new version is basically ready, but haven't put it out for download yet. Will the new version have an option for a mapping without the ALT key? I'm loving the JVS-PAC for MAME but I can't play any type X ...

The First Line just says Vewlix and the model.

The second line is about half life 2 which I think was on vewlix right? See below

Re: 1080p? Vewlix Monitor Replacement Document inside questi

Hi there, There's a scan i've obtained from a contact at Taito Japan. I was wondering if anyone knew about this monitor? It's their latest replacement that they said they had, and what they reply with if someone asks for a spare part. So the 'superior version' of the vewlix monitor which was meant ...

I have the chance to buy a Viewlix from China, and would like to know if it is fake or not. Want to post some picture but don't know how to... As in you don't know how to post a picture on this forum or you dont have one yet? Re: Vewlix Screen Replacement - Best option?

So I'm in this boat right now.. I have a silver vewlix L (the chinese one) and the lcd screen is having problems. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7637606/20150201_234035.jpg" The lcd panel is a LTI320AP01. I tried to find one online with no luck. I did however find a very similiar/ and sli...

I know this is a long shot but I thought I'd post to see. The PS3 "PS home" button! I know this has been a problem and I did some research and hoped you might take a look to see if you can get it working. Belows some talk about getting it working on some devices with some magic 8 bits that...

Re: Arcades in China

So continuing in my trip here in China, I'm now up in the North at Xi'an a pretty cool walled city akin to if the Great Wall and York had a baby. Seemingly a lot of arcades westerners have blogged or visited have closed down or moved so there was a lot of trekking around, the quality of the arcades ...

Re: Arcades in China

Tried going to the Xin Xin Game Center which was supposed to be an amazing 90's Arcade including a four player Mario Kart GP2 setup and super cheap games, definitely found the place but when I went at 4pm the doors were locked closed and the lights were off, couldn't see any cabs through the glass d...

Re: Arcades in China

Nice! Very nice. But... is there no aspect ratio control on those Vewlix cabs? :eh:  I think the Japanese versions 'might' have a secret LCD screen menu which has that option, but actually the Chinese made Vewlix tend to use some consumer models of LCD's, so,depends on them I guess. But there'...

Arcades in China

I'm currently in Shanghai and wanted to check out the Arcades here so went to Feng Yun Zai Qi Gaming centre in Peoples Square. Which is set within a 1930's underground mall. I know arcades have a bad rap here, partly due to all the rubbish Chinese-made games full of bugs, but this place was pretty a...

Wow thanks guys that's exactly what I was looking for. Nana did an awesome job. Mines really not to bad so I'll see how some compound and then polishing up works. I can always do some wet sanding later, if needed.
