Hi folks,
just got an Out Run board from Mark at the Retro Clinic, I also got myself a Turbo Outrun harness which is mostly the same, except that it only has one 10 pin AMP connector for power, instead of two. Here's two pictures of it:
I'm wondering if any other machine uses this kind of connector, as it would be easier for me to get one already wired up and then I could just cut and solder it to the JAMMA harness I'm making. The pin width and size is the same as on the back of the NAOMI motherboards, i.e. the connectors for the keyboard etc., not the power.
I think it's the same as on Blast City and Astros maybe...
If anyone knows, please let me know. Many thanks!

one of the Sega digital sound boards use this connector to power the board. (DSB1 or DSB2)

These are AMP IDC connector - old type, Sega moved over to to JST IDC RA type in around 1995
You can use JST RA plug, just cut it to fit, and also cut the notch off.. I've done this numerous times in the past.
