It's a PC with a separate JAMMA adapter in the box:
AIRFRAME supports any game compiled for x86 Linux or HTML5. GMS is NOT a requirement. Video Support from 240p (CGA) via JAMMA, all the way to 1080p via HDMI (we do not plan on internally developing HD games any time soon). Up to 6 buttons per player, although we plan to use no more than 4 with our games.

Specs:

- Processor aka "Crazy Eddie"- Instruction Set: x86-64 - Cores: four (4) Athlon - Frequency: 1.6 GHz - Cache: 2 MB

- Main Memory- Size: 2 GB - Frequency: 1333 MHz

- Graphics Processor aka "Orwell" - AMD Radeon HD8400 - Frequency: 600 MHz - Graphics Memory: 256 MB

- Sound Processor aka "Blast" - Realtek ALC887

No different in an arcade from any other game boot sequence. Once it's running, who cares?
+1. There are already modern arcade games by NAMCO for instance, that are based on Playstation 3 (or is it 4?) that even show that on boot. As long as the monitor's safe during boot, it's no problem IMHO to see a Linux boot sequence.

I hope there is a DVI out on this hardware. My first cabinet I am getting is a Vewlix L and would like to play this in HD glory. Would be cool if they gave it support for both tube and hd monitor cabinets.

Yes, but only when the game will be finished. Probably mid 2017/end 2017

You can actually buy the game now - if you don't mind getting the updates periodically.

Why are there no screw holes in what appear to be the mounting brackets?

Why is there six different missions in the mission select screen, but the text only promises four missions?

Anyway, I'm kinda sorta interested. Will have to think about it.

The specs of the used PC should be in this thread.

Software wise,it's Gamemaker on Linux. The game is on a USB stick.

Trap15 has access to it in a private arcade and "reviewed" the game on shmups discord server.

The other 2 missions will be available in the future via a free download - as will be the 2 player addition.

I wish it was a vertical game, easier to swap into my shmups cab, I have so many things competing for space in my horizontal cabs.

Think I'll wait for reviews, but tempted to order, I love the sprites.
