Is it Japanese people that are paying these prices or is us foreigners that just snap up any shmup regardless of price? Back when I started using YAJ if a decent game came up for auction there was hardly any competition for them and you could get them for less than 'forum prices'. Now certain games are being bid up beyond 'forum prices' with 5 days left on the auction.

I think both , Japanese people are definitely bidding high on stuff. I've also seen quiet a bit more pics recently of people with home setups than before.phillv85 wrote:Is it Japanese people that are paying these prices or is us foreigners that just snap up any shmup regardless of price? I think most of these buyers have jizz in their face.
Is anyone on this forum willing to pay £1000+ for a garegga PCB?
Honestly, I really want to know.

The last full kit on eBay was < grail
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322380764809
I didn't bid on it at £670, so >£1000 for a pcb
I think that was a very fair price

I keep missing out on Garegga, I think I am fated to stick with the Saturn port.
That kit looks a lot like one that was on sale here, and I contacted the seller about it but something went a bit wrong because he needed to get the sales thread kosher, and I got the impression that someone just steamed in and bought it in the meantime.
