Appreciate the help everyone has offered as my Blast project continues.
I am trying to figure out if there is any current source for quality Blast panel overlays. My overlay has come up near the bolt holes.
Also, in trying to clean the CP box I am struggling to get it white. I've used a lot of goo gone and still have some yellow and brownish staining everywhere. Any way to really nuke it back to white? Some of the brown haze just doesn't come up at all with goo gone. Also is there any danger of removing the white color if I scrub too much or use something more abrasive?
Couple of blast city control panel restoration questions.

I think this is no glas, should be plexiglas/acrylic glas.tzakiel wrote:Also any tips on removing scratches in glass instruction space cover?
You can try Novus Plastic Polish or maybe try to flame polish.
For the white control panel surround, retro bright or a professional paint job is the way to go.

Thanks. It's definitely glass. No other glass on cab but this is glass.

With glas, you can polish it the same way as a monitor tube would be polished.

Alternatively, you could just get a new glass cut. The black border is a bit fiddly to make, but possible. Mask of the other side with masking tape and spray some black paint on it.
