Doom. One of the most intense and fun FPS I've played in a while. The enemies get better and better and the finishing moves work really well. Firefights never get old. It feels as much like a Quake sequel actually. Really tight level design.

Ive been playing Doom for a couple of weeks too, absolutely loving it!

The enemies are relentless, hiding or even standing still just results in death. The level design, sound and graphics are brilliant.

Having weapons that fire until you are out of ammo without reloading is a massive plus for this game, farting around reloading just wouldn't work - it's too frenetic for that.

I'm playing on "hurt me plenty" but reckon I will go straight on to the next difficulty when I finish it. I just want more.

The only negatives are the rune trials are a bit frustrating and the load times whenever you die ( which can be quite frequent) are annoying.

New Doom's great. I've been through all the levels at least twice to find all the secrets and am on the final boss now. I've not played it in a couple of weeks but need to get back to it and complete it. The final boss is a prick though.

Good to hear the positive comments. It looks great and I think now it's the one game I'll probably buy a PS4 for.

Inside
50% frustration, 50% boredom. 0% fun.

I can see why it's getting rave reviews and it is smart and atmospheric but it's like the worlds slowest endless runner.

Right now its been a lot of street fighter V. Getting ready for EVO next week. I have messed around with my new groovymame set up, playing the likes of ninjabaseball batman, the ninja warriors, AVP, and dodonpachi, but that stuff will be taking a back seat until after EVO.

I played it a few weeks ago and surprised myself by getting to the level 3 tongues too.

Then I played it again the other day and couldn't get past level 1. :palm:
