The download links for the Pi version 3 inbuilt wireless card and GPIO pins are up on the github pages:

https://github.com/dev-tty0/Piforce-Web
https://github.com/dev-tty0/Piforce-Single

let me know any issues - I've tested the python for the GPIO, but I dont have the physical setup to confirm it works! .. let me know :D

This looks awesome. I have the Raspberry Pi 2 that I am net booting with the LCD screen. Works fine, but the part that I am most interested in is the hard-reset for games that don't reload when net booting (UPDATE - support for GPIO pins for hard-reset of games). So is there a version that works with the Raspberry Pi Version 2 that allows the hard-reset for required games and it is software only? That is amazing as I thought there were no software mods (only hardware) to get these games to load without rebooting the entire Naomi setup. That is a big deal so you don't have to go inside the Naomi and work with any hardware modifications - it is strictly done with the new revised software? If so - that is great!

Firstly; sorry to the people I never replied to - I need to check the forum more often - send me PM's!

to answer arcadefan, I've not updated the PI2 image with the GPIO setup, (although you also need the hardware addition from here to make it work : http://www.arcade-projects.com/forums/i ... 8#post6248 )

if anyone wants me to update the PI2 image, let me know, but the PI3 is sooo much easier to get going, with the inbuilt wireless adapter which supports AP mode out of the box!

I tested PiForce-Web today with a Raspberry Pi 3.
It works pretty well but unfortunately all Naomi 2 Roms and several Atomiswave Roms (e.g. Metal Slug 6) do not show up in the web interface.
Any idea why? When I use the same Roms with PiForce-Single they will load without problem.
Can anybody let me know the correct file names?
My configuration is Raspberry Pi 3, Naomi 2 with Multi-Bios, NetDimm 4.02

Yup, new image is now up - sorry life got busy :lol:

* Added support for naomi 2 and Atomiswave games
* Added shutdown and reboot links from the web page to shut down the pi cleanly

download link is http://www.mediafire.com/download/6mcsf ... v1.1.1.zip

should be fine, but let me know any feedback/bug fixes etc. :)

devtty0 wrote:Hey,

sorry for the late reply - I totally missed that :eh: .. yes, it is totally compatible with that solution and should be easy to integrate..

.. in fact, seeing as the PI3 has an inbuilt wireless antenna, that should make everything loads easier - no messing about getting the right wireless adapter! just burn the sd card and use it in an unmodified PI3!

I will push out an updated image once I manage to get hold of a PI3 :awe:
cool beans, i think i'll pickup at Pi 3 just for this reason, i have the exact same netgear adapter and it still gave me issues

Hi devtty0,

Just picked up a RPi3. Does the pi3-4g-gpio-final image support AW & Naomi2 games? Mine don't seem to show up?

Also... not sure if you have these ones covered yet...

Awesome work!

I'd love to have the chance to get this working but the download link doesn't seem to be working.

Does anyone have the Pi3 image?

Please I'm begging you, kindly add initial d 3 export or post a guide, if it is possible, on how to add games.

Even those for the triforce would be kindly appreciated.

Thanks a lot for your efforts and support.

Marco from Italy.

Hey,

Initial D 3 export should be there already - make sure you are using the latest image (from: http://www.mediafire.com/download/6mcsf ... v1.1.1.zip) and the rom name is:

Initial_D3_Export.bin
(case sensitive!)

the others are:
InitialD3Export = {'Initial_D3_Export.bin' }
InitialD2Export = {'InitialD2exp.bin' }
InitialDExport = {''InitialDexp.bin' }
InitialD2Japanese = {'InitialD2jap.bin' }
InitialDJapanese = {'InitialDjap.bin' }

let me know how you get on!!

I've not added triforce yet .. no-one has asked for it! .. I could do though?

If you want to try yourself, download the source, its on github (https://github.com/dev-tty0/Piforce-Web ... stream.zip) .. and the filenames are in write_web.py ..

cheers :)

First off, thank you so much for this. I've been using it since release and it helps a ton.

Second, is there any way to edit the webpage template from an already burned image? I wanted to add a couple of newly converted Atomiswave games like The King of Fighters XI and Dirty Pigskin Football, and maybe change some of the images or even add some text under each game giving a brief description. Thanks!

I've updated the image again with a number of feature requests; mainly to move the image files and names to the Windows (fat32) partition so that they can be easily edited, and added options to auto-load the last played game, and to shutdown the Pi following 10 minutes.

The full list of changes:

UPDATE - v1.2 - option to auto-load the last played game
UPDATE - v1.2 - option to auto-shutdown the file system after loading
UPDATE - v1.2 - config menu and shutdown links from every web-page
UPDATE - v1.2 - adds support for naomi2, atomswave, triforce and chihiro games
UPDATE - v1.2 - moves the game names, images and rom names to a .csv (excel) file in the Windows partition (/config/roms.csv) so its easy to amend or changing the pictures and text that are displayed for each game on the web page.
UPDATE - v1.2 - move the image folder to /config/images/ on the Windows (fat32) partition so the image files/pictures can be swopped easily.
UPDATE - v1.2 - integrated GPiO support for this project: http://www.arcade-projects.com/forums/i ... 8#post6248
