Capcom Impress crew assemble!!

Post by JamesABaldwin »

After recieving dandy sephys capcom impress today (after a torrent of sorrowful stories involving bad van hire and untrustworthy couriers), I am finally part of the impress crew.
First port of call was to add in my impress dreamcast cp I got about 2 years ago in the offchance I'd ever get an impress.

First Impress(ions) are that it's a lot bigger than I'd have imagined a candy would be.
Anyway, so, who can I colour as my bretheran? Who else has one?
Am I right in thinking that there's less than 5 here in our beautiful country?

I've got 2, sold a previous one a year ago. Both of mine have trisync chassis installed.

They're a little more common here, I know three people in the dc metro area who own some.

Yeah, they seem to be one of the more common candies in the US. IIRC doesn't someone on here own 3?

I wouldn't say they are that common, astros and egrets seem to be top choice here.

I have one. I bought it back when I lived in California but now its setup at work. Great cabinet and i'm impressed the monitor hasn't gone out on it yet (i've had it for about 9-10ish years i think).

My cab sadly is a little beat up from over the years of sitting in storage after I moved to Canada (it was there for about 2 years before I had my parents bring it up when they drove to new york one year).

Eh. here is one from when I was selling a spare 246 board a month back.

Good thing it does not show the top half of my cab where it's in somewhat bad shape. :awe:

The only thing I don't like is that the panel is not recessed.

This topic reminds me that I have to fix mine eventually... Anyone breaking a dead Impress for spares?? :awe:

You can't really go wrong with a price like that, but that was seriously dirty
