Getting the Xbox 360 out of storage

Post by Hitesh »

Got a 360 a few years ago and its hardly been used. Only played PES on it and some Xbox Live stuff.

Going to get it out of the loft and kick start using it.

Looking to get LIMBO as it looks stunning and the slow gameplay suits me.

Can anyone suggest a "slow gameplay" FPS?

I used to play Syphon Filter and Medal of Honour on PS1 and I would like to find games like that on the 360.

Regards to all

ODST is my favourite Halo game and also the most chilled out of the series. Must cost about tuppence nowadays.

Bioshock is a pretty 'slow' fps, there's a lot of walking around, with some fps elements thrown in. It's not as fast paced as say, CoD :)

Halo Reach on hardest difficulty is anything but chilled. Fantastic game.

2nding Bioshock. The sequel isn't as good.

Another one here for Halo Reach. Borderlands is reasonably slow-paced, depending on how you choose to play I suppose.

Thank you for the advice boys. Much appreciated.

Booted up the xbox 360 fine....... no red light death.

Looked at videos on youtube of your recommends. All too hard for me.

Bought (via download) LIMBO yesterday. Obviously not a FPS but its going to keep me happy for a couple of weeks.

Thinking : XBox Gold looks great value for money. 4 "new" games a month for £40 annual payment.

If you want gold, keep an eye out for deals in the January sales. It was £25 from MS and Amazon on Black Friday.

I do want a good "slow" FPS.

I am used to games like Metal Gear Solid, Syphon Filter, Medal of Honor on PS1 so thats what I mean my "slow".

I cannot handle too much going on, fast running, too many buttons........... I AM OLD! :-)

Get Bioshock, it's great. Thinking mans FPS. Also Mirror's Edge - get that. It's FP but not really much S.

X360 is still the most recent system I own. It's a shame if you don't already have Outrun HD (it's been taken down because of the licence expiring). But maybe you have a PS3 with it installed.

Limbo is a good game but I have to admit I haven't finished it. (my attention wandered) Also get one of the Trials games as well. Great fun!

The Darkness was pretty good, great story too.

I even like the second one a lot!

Neither is considered difficult unless you play on the hardest settings.

Also Call Of Juarez 2 if you fancy a cowboy based FPS!

Any of the Metal Gear Solid games interest you? Kind of in line with the Syphon Filter genre.
