Switch version a bit buggy apparently. Bet it looks glorious on that screen though. There's a scanline option, not the best I've seen but very welcome.

That was easy.

(Go to accounts.nintendo.com in a browser. Change the region of your account. Open the eShop on the Switch. Faff around buying it in a different language with a credit card. Change your region back in the browser. Shows up as purchased in the UK eShop)

There's a couple of issues with the system buttons (Photo, Home and power) not responding for a few seconds, which I'm surprised got past Nintendo, as they're usually on the ball with that kind of thing. Otherwise, there's a couple of in-game bugs that are shared across platforms, but the devs have already said they're working on patches for everything.

I played a bit last night (Switch ver) and didn't run into any bugs that I noticed. It's really, really great. Definitely the most inventive (and hard) bosses the series has ever seen.

That sounds great! Can't wait for the PC version to drop by the end of the month.

I can break mine between levels 4-5 every time! How the hell that made it through testing I have no idea. Haven't spotted any other bugs so far.

Game is fantastic otherwise, they've done a brilliant job making a new true Sonic game.

The CRT filters are well chosen for 720p, just right.

Fix the bugs and sell me a cart, Sega.

Agree thought the filters seem about right , haven't noticed any bugs yet but I'm crap at sonic.... Looks great on the big screen and small with cry sharp filter
Really think this game is perfect for switch.

:awe: 90s time machine. Sonic's been on at mine all afternoon. It's fantastic. I love how the Act 2's are jazzed up and I love the bosses. It's one of the few games that's kept me, my nearly 15 year old and nearly 5 year old sons equally entertained. It's as good as people like to remember Sonic - which is a slight bit better than it ever actually was.

Chances must be very low for a physical release turning up after the collector's boxed eshop code's been and gone.

Yeah, that bit seems to have been skipped by the testers...

I'd have been royally annoyed if Robotnik was a decent adversary.

Bought it yesterday on PS4 and played all night. Definately the best Sonic game ever in my opinion. It has a really nice flow and I really like the graphics and leveldesign.
Still hoping for a physical edition. And I hope they are already working on Sonic Mania 2 :awe: .
Does anyone know the numbers? How good does it sell? I really hope it goes strong so that the people at SEGA are getting that it´s the right direction.

I've been playing the Xbone version for the past couple of weeks and really enjoying it.
I can also confirm that the replay value is great, having managed to delete my mid-game save state by accident on the second day :palm:

I'm properly struggling on Titanic Monarch, timing out on zone 1 and zone 2.

I hate to admit it but I haven't bought this because the PC version has terrible DRM (Denuvo).

Now I wish I had next gen console. Game looks really, really good :(

I haven't got to Titanic Monarch yet. I made it to Mirage Saloon, before erasing all traces. I've been trying to maximise chaos emeralds and blue spheres on the replay levels, but I'm not doing too great. I haven't reset a game mid level this many times since the N64 Goldeneye speed runs :shifty:
