What about option 3, an entire library of original carts. That would be perfect rather than "perfect"

Yeah, that CRT shader looks ****. Nestopia's composite filter looks infinitely more believable.

It's Nintendo so they are most probably using there own emulator (or they stole the whole thing or parts, no way of knowing for sure unless the software itself can be compared).
