Never read about the ps3 version, but the 360 version is terrible visually, all sort of weird unwanted processing filters and scaling. So if it ijust as good or the same, try before you buy.

I thought the 360 version was pretty good thanks to Arika rescuing it.

See my post here
http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.ph ... ketsui+360
yet I only played it yoko.
But I hardly doubt it will look alot better in tate, maybe a little better perhaps?
It was so unbearable I never scrolled more than half a screen.
As a matter of fact I have never encountered a more butched shmups port (visually) on any system ever.
Ibara and Mushi has terrible scaling artifacts on the ps2, but are way better than Ketsui on 360!
Again, this is just the xbox port, I know nothing about the ps3 port.

I have the PCB (in a cab) and the X360 version (on a tate'd PVM).. I've never really noticed a difference...

If you can TATE, why wait?
IMHO, the 360 port of Ketsui was fine, but the game runs too fast. The PGM hardware is 58hz or something, and has been sped up to 60hz. Also, 'twas the DOJ BL-EX port that was rescued by ARIKA, as the people hired to make the port for 5PB tried to get away by using ARIKAs source code.
