Right, got quite a few to keep me going now

- Pilot Wings Resort
- Zelda LBW
- Prof. Layton & The Miracle Mask
- MK7
- Super Mario 3d land

I went for the Majora's Mask special edition 3dsXL which has Majora's Mask preloaded... now the long wait until it arrives.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far :)

Cheers mate. They should keep me busy for a while :)
The TV is often in use in our house = no gaming for me, so going to be nice to have something I can play anywhere :)

Is there 2 versions? Looks like Amazon still have them for preorder?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/New-Nintendo-Ze ... joras+mask"

EDIT. Just realised that this version doesn't have the skull figure. Went to Nintendo's site and they had them in stock with the figure.... Bought one and it now says sold out :problem:
http://store.nintendo.co.uk/new-nintend ... 70029.html"

I will wait and see if I get it... If so I will send back the Amazon one...

EDIT 2: The Amazon version is 20 quid more expensive without the figure?!?

Hmm.... Amazon still have pre-orders on this? Wow.. They are like hot property at the moment. Let's hope Amazon haven't over booked their pre-orders on this because they are sold out around the world. At it's normal nonscalp price of £209 anyway.

Back in stock on Nintendo store yesterday. Ordered one.

Amazon France has the cheapest standard systems. New 3DS for ~£120 and New 3DS XL for ~£140.

However the Nintendo store order could work out best as I plan to ebay the Skull Kid figure (I like it, but I don't like it £50).

The Amazon one doesn't have the skull figure though... bit of a rip off me thinks!

I will sell the Skull figure too if it is worth anything :D

You should try Theatrhythm Final Fantasy. I never played FF but I loved that rythm game. Catchy songs and great gameplay.

If you have a Japanese 3ds, dunno if they released it on the other store, Koutetsu Teikoku/Steel Empire is a great shmup, even if it's a bit easy in normal difficulty.

Anyone who's on the boards and owns a 3ds should really consider the 3d Sega Arcade Remaster games. They are pure beauty. While I usually consider 3D additions to be a gimmick, in this case they are BEAUTIFUL. You can play with or without the 3d, but these games shine with both. Not only that, the 2M fellas didn't just simply port the games, they actually built new System 16 boards (in 2014!) to allow 3d game play for some of the games. They really know the games in and out. Also, they added some new modes, and arcade sounds...which again, really add to the games. If you're a SEGA fan, its a real treat. They document their process here: http://blogs.sega.com/category/sega-3d-classics/

Check those out. Great reads. I loved these, but went to a panel discussion led by a SEGA producer last weekend and fell in love with these even more!

I too enjoyed Zelda LBW. Got it in January 2014 when I was sick. Had to stay in bed for about a week and beat the whole game within 3 days. I loved a link to the past on the SNES and this one is what I expected ocarina of time to be like.

I agree, besides replaying Zelda:OOT Pilot wings is the only thing that has kept me coming back to the 3DS.

No one mentioned Castlevania. On the old 3DS it was pretty much unplayable in 3D but should play well enough on the new one.

I finally got my Nintendo store 3ds XL.
I've been playing 3d Mario Land... it is amazing! Not tried anything else yet :)

My usual luck has hit me again with my new toy. The top screen is yellow compared to the bottom one and the gradients are choppy.... Known problem once you start googling.
Nintendo customer support are really bad. I requested a new one but due to the limited edition version, they said they could not guarantee I would get a replacement so I have had to buy another one, hope it is better and then send this one back for a refund.

Yellow screens haunt my dreams. I thought the problem was isolated to my bad luck with Apple but no :D

I didn't know the 3ds xl had that problem? The first time I came across it was a black DS lite. I own 1 US DS original, 1 pink DS Lite, 1 blue DSi, 2 DS XL... 1 3DS FE edition... Zelda N3DS.. What I'm saying is... Out of all that just the black DS lite had that problem, now your 3ds xl has it... It doesn't follow a pattern at all... Seems so random and it looks horrible.
