The Kirby one's my favourite, he's ace. I'd like a Pikachu next . I found myself eyeing up the Stitch a Infinity figure in TRU the other day too.

Re: I gotta problem... Amiibo addiction....
I happen to like some Pokemon designs a lot more than other-- actually for me Pokemon feels like something different than regular "first party Nintendo stuff", so I could say I prefer Pokemon designs a lot more than the plumbers and whatnots.
More Pokemon amiibos plz. Those can just sit around without having any function.

Re: I gotta problem... Amiibo addiction....
Well it's done, all 18 current amiibo either in-hand or ordered. I paid £11.88 per amiibo. Slightly disappointed now I've realised the RRP is £10.99 and not £11.99 as I previously thought
Paid £10.84 per amiibo for wave 1, but an eye-watering £13.97 per amiibo for wave 2. This is because I overpaid for Captain Falcon (£15.99) and Little Mac (£24). I'm sure I could have done better on those with patience. With that said, bundles of the 4 "perceived rare" amiibos are routinely making £100 on eBay and at the start of the week a complete set of the current 18 amiibos sold for £370.
I'm guessing Nintendo will release amiibos for the entire SSB roster, so that's at least 48 amiibos. Possibly more if they do DLC characters (Mewtwo), the 3 Mii characters, alternate versions (the Koopalings) etc. So quite possibly at least 5 further waves of 6 amiibos each yet to come (including the next two waves which have already been announced). If those waves are spread out enough and I can pre-order them all at RRP or less, my wallet might just about be able to manage it. This is all educated guesswork of course, but we're talking a total RRP of £527.52 for 48 amiibos.
Complete madness, Nintendo are having a field day. Anyway, all good fun and I've enjoyed hunting them all down over the last week or so. Haven't decided whether to stick, twist or bust yet

Speaking of Kirby, Nath got this little set of figures for Chrizzlers. I included them with my last YHA haul.

Much cheaper too. They're only rubber duck quality but they look quite nice. Plus there's some free dubious chewing gum in each pack.TheRedKnight wrote:Much nicer than any Amiibos!

Any interest for an AO toy trading thread? Amiibo, gashapon, keychains, action figures etc etc
I got some spares and trading is fun. So why not?

Re: I gotta problem... Amiibo addiction....
While waiting for a bus I popped by at a nearby departmenr store. 5 Little Macs, 3 Cpt Falcons, no Marths, no Samus Arans, no Pikachus. I would've bought a Pikachu. Actually, should have bought anything but not that takeaway from that "chinese" place...

Re: I gotta problem... Amiibo addiction....
I'll go get you one tomorrow if you really want one shipped all the way from here.
EDIT: They're priced at 16.99 EUR which is 13.3095 GBP. Anyone else want one? I can't promise they'll all still be there, but I can look around.

yes
It'll be handy if there's more UK takers as we can split the postage to the UK. Do you have a rough idea what that's likely to be?

Re: I gotta problem... Amiibo addiction....
According to Amazon one amiibo is 113 grams. So... Below 250 grams the shipping will be 5.80EUR, while up to 500 grams it is to 9.50EUR. Up to 1000 grams would be 15.00EUR. 1500 grams max is 21.50EUR. These prices have no tracking. For 25.50EUR I can ship anything up to 2000 grams with tracking and it'll also be faster. I guess that's enough unless you also want 50 copies of Bakugan for the DS. They were on sale for 3EUR each.pubjoe wrote:yes

Not too bad for one then.
Not really worth combing two. Maybe four or more. Spectre's probably after one.
Thanks a lot TRK.

Re: I gotta problem... Amiibo addiction....
OK, will go and snatch that Little Mac tomorrow at around noon my time, so everyone who is desperate for a certain amiibo can write down what they're after in this thread and I'll do my best. If you plan to never open yours and need a mint specimen, please mention that info. They should all cost around 17EUR, but you can let me know what your limit is. I can include Jims and salmiakki if someone wants.
This also includes you pubjoe. I'll let you sleep over it and reconsider.
