Re: Street Fighter V
Gave this about an hour on the weekend in my brief time at HoG.
It's good. Surprisingly so, considering I play about one round of SFIV before quitting in disgust.
Characters had a nice weight to them, everything responded fluidly. Looked quite nice too, although Zangiefs predatory Vs screen stance against any of the female characters is pretty laugh out loud.
Too bad I've got no-one to play against IRL or I could see me picking this up.

Re: Street Fighter V
i hear you, i wish they had given the other characters an overhaul aswell like they did with ken.
don`t mind his new look by the way, could have been way worse.

Re: Street Fighter V
Isn't most of the cast rather different from what they've been in the previous games?

Ha anyone been in japanese game center lately?
I am curious if the lack of SFV Arcade version has any impact in the game centers. Maybe people is still playing SSF2X, SF3 and SF4 or more people is playing other fighting games like Blazblue or Tekken 7.

Re: Street Fighter V
I would have thought they'd release some sort of arcade PS4 hybrid at least?! Well it's got to have impact... for would be competition players and delusional competition wannabes, why train at the arcades when it's a PS4 exclusive. Arcades will be missing their money for sure. How big an impact I don't know but it's got to be felt by the ops.ArcadeSTG wrote:Ha anyone been in japanese game center lately?

Re: Street Fighter V
So, I buckled and bought a PS4 for SFV
So, you can no longer do a hurricane kick in the air when jumping back, WTF?
Numerous other things about this that doesn't impress me, but the biggie, I thought i'd see what it plays like online seeing as I have no 2p competition at all,
you have to pay to play online now on the Playstation Network????
What the actual f#*k?

http://www.fightersgeneration.com/scree ... bigail.htmAbigail will join the SFV roster and will be available July 25th - along with the Metro City Bay Area stage (based on Abigail's first appearance in Final Fight, way back in 1989). The 8'0" tall muscle-head is even more unproportionally massive than anyone remembers, and looks to be a very interesting addition to SFV's roster. Check out Abigail's reveal trailer, below.
