I've never bought in to the whole MK universe or crappy gimmicks to cover over all the flaws and at this stage I doubt there's anything that could convince me to play X. MK's even devoid of the 'charm' of the digitised characters and humour now and to me the series is as irrelevant as ever, silly MK :whoopsie:

I agree, the charm is gone. But that could be said about a lot of games who have ditched their 2D origins. (you know exactly what I'm talking about :awe:)

I'm just intrigued because the quality of animation is a lot better now, and I've heard that Injustice was a good game. Then again I don't understand how you can make a fighting game about superheroes and end up with a game that is devoid of colour. There's a lot of potential within NRS right now, but they don't seem to be able to get it right. Also, Injustice is no longer in Evo this year, because MKX will be there. Which means that NRS doesn't want to support their games longer than two years. Lame. So lame that I don't want to pay a cent for MKX.

I'm actually pretty excited to play this having seen what the local fun can present in the form of the "modifiers" they have recently revealed. They do look pretty fun! At least take a look at that feature, it's bound to cause some laughs.

I do wonder how people our age (now) felt about MK when the original MK games came out back in the day.. I bet this game really appeals to younger gamers/gamers who were OUR age when MK first came out.

I would LOVE the fun to be had if SF had these modifiers!!

"PORTAL KOMBAT" looks so funny, coupled with random darkness! Or constant "finish him" opportunities

Also, pretty cool the devs are allowing use of the MK PS3 sticks! Sweet 60fps too!

I know, it's messy, but still good fan service. I actually like these sticks because sometimes I also use them for NBA Jam or other midway games - sometimes, just SOMETIMES, you want an american style **** arcade experience.

Check this link: http://arcadesushi.com/mortal-kombat-x- ... ght-stick/"

or have a read here:

"The PlayStation 4 version of Mortal Kombat X will feature support for last-generation fight sticks, developer NetherRealm confirmed in a livestream presentation of the game today.

NetherRealm confirmed that at least two PlayStation 3 fight sticks are compatible with the PS4 version of Mortal Kombat X. Confirmed so far are the Mortal Kombat Tournament Edition fight stick from 2011 and the Injustice: Gods Among Us fight stick from 2013. It's not yet clear what other sticks are supported, or if the Xbox One version will support Xbox 360 sticks."

Nothing wrong with a US style stick, I've regained the power of speech and filled in the gaps...

Wait, do they expect anyone to be grateful?

So is it up to the developer if they do or don't lock out all those perfectly good and expensive USB Playstation sticks from their last generation?

Erm... Thank? You?

What's going on? :wtf:

100% right and totally agree with you. Because CAPCOM would want to sell more sticks/some license agreement with MadCatz, surely? But the MK PDP sticks, they don't have a new stick coming out and couldn't care less. That's what I'm reading into this.
