I suspect MS will rape Sony's **** on the 21st May...... a GT6 announcement for the PS3 won't hold off the onslaught I suspect will be around the corner.

It seems pretty weird to me that the PS4 commercial awareness has gone non-existent since the original release announcement (not that anything was actually shown announced)...... and we're only 6 months away from it hitting the public.

I've still got GT5 in the cellophane :palm:

I prefer racing games on the PC. At least that way you can lock it at 60FPS

Absolutely loved Dirt3 on the pc, put heavy time into that game. Hooked up to a good wheel/pedal set it comes alive!! :awe:

TBH PC is the nerd kingdom for racing simulation....sky's the limit interms of setup/costs :-o

Yeah a 3 screen setup is possible and gives you a much better experience than a console racer.

Although Outrun 2 on arcade is still the best :P

I'm not into 3 screen set ups or 3D. 30" 2560 x 1600 monitor is in IMO better than any eyefinity pish.

I'm pretty sure there's an outrun on PC? I still think OR2 is too much of an arcade game (can there be such a thing) for home use. ID is better, IMO of course.

As pete says...OR2 on arcade IS the best version although I would wager the PC version is prettier, no feedback though which is a ****!!

Edit, apparently there's another version out there that's quite a bit prettier on the arcade... ;)

Model2 on PC is as close to arcade as you'll ever get and again prettier....Model3 is getting there... ;)

3D racing is for the birds imo, but a triple screen or large single screen with 120hz and some serious controller setup is giz material.. :awe:

I might like a 3 screen racer if it were properly designed, like F355, but the PC stuff is normally stretched or pointless.

Anyways, I'm sure GT6 will be pretty & 3D, but ultimately style over substance. I hope I'm wrong.

Just google'd it and you're right, want!

2014, but realistically 2015 before stuff is playable I would think.

Hopefully GT6 is nice and smooth. The framerate on GT5 sucked, far less smooth than the PS2 games.

I always enjoy Gran Turismo, and 6 will give me an excuse to dig my wheel out again.
