Re: Maldita Castilla
Works nice through a CRT with the scanline filter turned off. What I've played so for its pretty decent. I like jumping physics, it feels a little nicer than GnG and gives you a little control over your length of jump, very stylish. Also being able to fire at default ground height and jump at the same time by pressing attack+jump simultaneously adds a nice flow to the game ( Like arcade Shinobi) It drives me nuts on games of this genre having to stagger fire and jump slightly. (Arcade Shadow Dancer :/)

Locomalito was kind enough to listen to requests and released this:
http://www.locomalito.com/juegos/Maldit ... abinet.zip
"If you are running the game in an Arcade cabinet with a frontend,
or if you have graphic issues, try replacing Maldita Castilla.exe with this file"
What a nice fellow!

Played a little. Solid gameplay and amazing chara design / backgrounds!!!
A little easy, maybe (played only two levels, for now).

Re: Maldita Castilla
This game needs 3D acceleration, which my PC doesn't have. Funny how I can run Kawaks on it, making Neo Geo and CPS1|2 games playable, but not this lower-spec looking thing

Beautiful game. So retro yet so modern.
I am playing this on my PC hooked up to 46" Samsung via HDMI.
Controller is Playstaion Namco Controller via USB.

I just discovered this, and I am frankly puzzled. Simple gaming, yet refreshing to play something new.

Re: Maldita Castilla
Downloaded it and tried it. Its very good but is there some way of adjusting the video and controls further than what's offered ? It looks ok on my cab but like it has some sort of filter going on,also I can only config some of the buttons on my cab not all of them.
Thanks
Thanks
