Re: Super Nintardbros!
It's an arcade port. You can complete it in 15 mins. £2-3 tops

Re: Super Nintardbros!
It has the ultimate replayability value.
---
The packaging goes a little way to justify the price, but to be honest I'm a bit embarrassed for the Switch and Capcom that this even exists.
I wasn't a fan of HD-Remix's rebalanced mode. After thousands of hours I'm still learning ST and by now I accept the mechanics the way they are. Even if ST was broken, which it isn't, I wouldn't want to confuse myself by learning a version that's tuned a bit differently by some bloke.
The redrawn sprites are best forgotten about in my opinion. The Capcom originals may not be perfect but fwhy me, HD-Remix is what happens when the westerners who **** cover art are let loose on a whole game.
Then there's the Switch exclusive Way of the Spazzo mode - did anybody on earth want this?
Ten years ago for £10 it was a bit of a shame but it was only a cheaply produced XBox Live arcade release at the end of the day. Today for £35, and oddly one of the Switch's main publicised releases, it's **** atrocious.

So anyway if I ignore the above features and buy it just for vanilla ST with online play and portability... yeah ok. Maybe for £25. I just wish all the added **** wasn't there to remind me it's a poor, unneeded revamp to a 20-year old game.

Re: Super Nintardbros!
I've never written a long post that I haven't regretted.
Just played the Arms demo. Realised at 1:20 that it was running, forced myself to have a couple of goes and ended up playing it until it ended at 2:00. It's undeniably fun, and it doesn't knacker your arms. I'm buying it.

Re: Super Nintardbros!
Unpopular opinion, I don't mind the HD SF2 artwork. The backgrounds are nice, the HD UI is fine, and the sprites whilst not being a patch on the originals do the job well enough provided you don't focus on how bad the faces are. Classic art works fine on TV but looks awful on handheld, think the UI elements in HD mixed with low res game is a bit too obvious on a small screen.
The remixed music I can't stand. New graphics, classic music, game is fine with me on handheld and TV.
JoyCon are passable via stick. Dpad buttons are a no go. 8bitdo NES30 / Pro have a decent dpad and I'm having no problem pulling off a shoryuken for a change.
Although I've been told Ryu's sample for this sounds more like "vote UKIP"...

Re: Super Nintardbros!
No problems here with my switch, except for MK8 typically requires 2 re-tries to connect for online play, and infrequently will disconnect mid-game. The signal is strong, according to the meter on the screen.
Haven't tried USF2 on wifi, only hard-wired, and I'm liking the game. I think way of the Spazzo is strictly for the younger generation. It's the first thing my son did when we got the game. It seems the online play is getting less choppy as the days progress since release date. Maybe just more people getting online, so there are more options in a closer/less laggy proximity.
Did a padhack of the a SFC30, I couldn't imagine playing SF with anything but a righteous arcade layout and have no interest in trying:
