Bionic Commando Rearmed

Post by SuperPang »

How awesome is this? I loved the NES game, one of the most technically accomplished on the system IMO and way better than the coin-op. Amazingly "Grin" are one of the few remake devs who've realized if it aint broke, don't fix it. BCR plays just right, but with tarted up graphics, improved bosses and amazing music. Love it!

Overall I think it is worth the download.
When the trailer came out I thought it looked sweet and the game play hasn't disappointed.
But seriously, one word, "JUMP" :)

The lack of a jump button will confuse the crap out of new players but this was precision control for the NES  Its possible to get really graceful with the grappler actually. Like all Japanese games it can be mastered with practice.

I have to wait till payday to pick it up but man I am loving the demo. I had only had the chance to play the original a few years back and never really got into it. My NES broke so that had something to do with it. But it is liquid fun.

I used to play the original NES commando and it was proper stuff. Still owe the game boxed and stuff. Really looking forward to get Rearmed. It looks awesone.
