New gameplay footage...

Is it just me or are the DBFZ videos posted by IGN on Youtube kinda jerky?

When I saw the reveal trailer, my face dropped by how well it represented the anime. When I heard that Arc System Works is the developer, I knew that we will have something really special.
The downside is that we will have 4-5 games (revisions) that will have minimal new content. Relevant example: Guilty Gear XX

I doubt that's going to be the case this time. Surely owner of the IP doesn't want it to be "tarnished" like that. So, it's going to get patched like the PS3 JoJo fighting game, but for how long until it will just get abandoned?

Even more characters revealed. Toriyama even designed a brand new character for the game. She looks interesting!

To me Dragon Ball has always been about the cool artstyle, so I don't really mind if there are multiple versions of the same characters, as long as they differ from each other gameplay wise.

Tenshinhan and ChaoTzu...what a team

Even though not from Dragon Ball Z, I would like to see Pilaf Sama as a DLC character.

Played a bit of this today. I like the hub world, feels fresh, and I like the fact that Story mode isn't just a **** anime like other Arc System games, you can actually do stuff in between the **** anime. Seems to be lots to learn but certain characters are suited to the button masher noob too. I know nothing about Dragonballz so the roster having several versions of a boy with spiky hair feels a little odd. I feel more at home as with GGXrd but I'm sure I'll figure it out. One thing's for sure, there's £40 worth of fighting game here. I'm looking at you Crapcom. :problem:

Arc haven't failed to deliver with this game
GGXrd Rev 2 and DBFZ are proof of how good a fighting game can be! I even bought a HRAP4 for these.
