My new Egret II (pic heavy)

Post by wonderbanana »

Happy Boy today, picked up this absolutely stunning Egret II. :awe:

Pictures from my phone and the poor light in my man cave really don't do it justice. Monitor is burn free (i certainly cant see anything) and has a great pic though in the shot below I hadn't tweaked it yet.

Got loads of bits with it too, spare chassis, panels, stools etc :awe:

Anyways, some pics:

Cheers guys, I'm over the moon! :awe:

I really have cuddled it btw... :hinthint:

Gonna drop the CP off next week and compound it back a bit like I did on the AWSD to get it shiny white (working in the refinish trade does have some perks) and shove some Seimitsu parts in the CP but other than that there really isn't anything to do! Well except TATE it anyhoo... ;)

Well she's been rotated! :awe:

Egret II monitor easy to turn? Oh yes :D Monitor bezel? Has possibly killed my back! :problem:

As easy as the turn is on the screen (had the back off to keep an eye on the wires as I went, I've heard of even EII's being necked), the bezel is **** horrible!

I am not doing that again for a while. In fact it's made my mind up on 2 cabs in the future. :shifty:

TATE! :awe:

Funny when I had the AWSD I had no idea the hole in the rails was to hold a pcb board in place. My new discovery of this feature today on the Egret came after pulling the board and wondering for a while why it wouldn't move... :lolno:

Image

And my first pcb played in the cab as you've seen is....

Image

However I have no idea what sticks are in the cab but I need some Seimitsu's quick! I've never used a stick with so much throw!
