Hope you don't mind me posting this in your thread but I had the same problem with my board.
I had played it for 1-2 minutes and then all of a sudden. -SUB CPU ERROR-
I ripped it out from my woody cab and quickly noticed that the bolts holding the heatsink had come loose.
I thightened them and after it had cooled it worked again. I was lucky..

Should i change the array?
Did anybody know where to get them?

Yes I would change it, unfortunately I think they are a custom Taito part so the only place you will find them is on other Taito baords, you need a scrap board.

Not really - the heatsink is only for the amplifier chip, even if it completely fell off and the amp roasted itself to death it would not affect the game running. You may find your board falls over with the same message in the future, or it might not, you never know, but I can say 100% that the heatsink being loose is unrelated to the SUB CPU error, ie bus error.

Took one temporaly from other board - unfortunatly the array is fine and not broken.

Next problem - after the array the Seta/Taito custom ic "X1-004" is next in line.
Now where to get such one?

Anybody here can provide such a chip?

I still have input errors. Managed to get hold of a second Seta X1-004, but everything is the same - so next step is to probe beyond this chip and also have a look at what it does in some greater detail, don't really have the motivation to do that ATM. The chip is a true PITA to desolder, and you would need some serious tools & skills to get one out "alive" - the legs were cut on the one I removed..

I will soon get my first oscilloscope and will have look at the seta chip. By logic probe it looks like it's fairly "passive", i.e. no clock coming to it - could be the problem..
