Namco sound, the final frontier

Postby Asayuki » September 11th, 2016, 11:50 am

Hi,
here's a very easy fix for an issue that forced me through a fascinating trip down into the nitty gritty of FM audio generation of the early 80's. 8-)
I recommend this article to all those who love to understand how digital circuits work, but expecially to all those who wonder how the most famous music in the entire gaming world worked. 4 bits have always been way more than enough to generate sound. A sound that's never obsolete. ;)

Enjoy!

My 15kHz cabinet Peplos will never power up, with any item, and I am quite proud of that.
