That's good to know. I assumed it meant it was read too. At least it lets you know the other person has logged in and is either ignoring it or missed it. I don't like the email method.

Yeah, many cases where the recipient has genuinely not read it.

I'd say the Wonderboy thread was just moved to the q&a section as it relates to it and rossyra said he had accidentally moved stuff last week.

Is it possible to change the attachments to full quality inline?

Go in to your PM inbox, folder settings and activate the setting for “If folder full, delete oldest messages”

That will just delete the messages automatically.

How about this instead: https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3 ... _settings/

MAX PRIVATE MESSAGES PER BOX: This is the maximum number of private messages your users can have in each of their folders.

I think, comparatively speaking, 200 messages is pretty generous. Some forums have a 50 or fewer limit.

Perhaps if you can make a compelling case why it should be increased beyond 'I have to delete stuff' we can openly discuss it.

It's cool, reading the admin documentation that I linked, I discovered that I can make a new folder called "Old Inbox", move all 200 messages in there, and have room for 200 new messages in my inbox again. :awe:

Yeah I genuinely don't know how PHPBB came up with their PM quota system.

For more, be an Admin :)

I believe your use of 6k & 6000 is annoying to some.

Hope this is the right section to post this, if not please move.

I am not getting any notification by email even with all the "Email" boxes ticked in notification options.

I checked my spam drawer in my mailbox and nothing there.

Any idea ?

Many thx.

I can't see anything wrong with your settings, is your email address definitely correct?

I’ve probably asked this before but could attached images be put inline properly with a different extension? As it is the full res version seems to be preloaded anyway. It’d be nice to not rely on third party hosts just to stop inline images looking blurry.
