Nanao MS8 26A - Vertical Collapse
Heya. Working on getting an Aero working over here. Monitor powers on but has a terrible vertical deflection problem (collapsed).
Good news is I have two complete chassis. The other chassis doesn't power on but I figured I could maybe harvest whatever was needed to fix the collapsed one.
Here is a pic of the chassis (courtesy of Jomac):
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I have the same issue with my monitor in a Sega Aerocity that I'd like to attempt to repair. It's been years sense it's worked:(. Does anyone recall what transistor type is Q401,Q402? I'd like to have the parts on hand before I take out and disassemble the monitor. Thanks

Q401 & Q402 are D1138 transistors.

Thanks Yosai . Is there anything that I should watch out for while sourcing D1138?

They should all be roughly the same. There are some on ebay atm, search for 2SD1138 or D1138. you may want to look at your chassis and choose the same brand rather than unbranded ones.
Something like these should be fine.

Okay great. I'll order some. I just hope that the parts listed to change are the same with all the MS8-26 series. Do you happen to know if a cap kit for a 26su will most likely do most of a 26a? Thanks again.
