I have no idea where he's based but you just have to send it to jomac

He's the best and a pro at Nanao chassis, which you probably have in your astro.

Alan at PSRA in Wicklow Ireland is recommended for anyone around the East coast. http://www.psra.ie/
He was unable to identify why my Sanwa 29e31s had failed after a new Lopt was replaced by him
HV tested & caps replaced, No fix-No fee so €65 for a Lopt wasn't too bad. either incompatible or a diode is blown somewhere..

Hello grantspain,
Ronnie Kolk recommended you for monitor chassis repairs.
I've got a faulty Nanao Ms8-29FSG. Already sent it out for repairs, but it came back with different issues. Seems like the pcb has a small crack. At the moment, when I turn it on, the monitor shows a thin vertical line (when screen is tated) and turns back off after a few seconds.

If you can/want to repair it, shoot me a pm please
I'm located in Germany

Hi there, on top of my last question, I found a new monitor chassis on ebay that might be suitable for me, all the specs are the same except mine has a Horizontal ohms of 1.2 but the one on ebay has 1.3 ohms. Would it still be suitable? Many thanks.

I think this kind of question would be best placed in a separate thread concerning chassis/tube/yoke compatibility, but in any case, the resistance is really not important for the horizontal winding. You should instead get an LCR meter and measure inductance. For example, the MS8-29FSG wants ~0.390mH.
