Nanaos MS9 - Plastic Strip ?

Post by trev1976 »

Hi

Can anyone tell me what this clear yellow plastic strip at the bottom of my screen does ? The cab is a New Astro.

Can it be removed ?

Thanks

I think they were there to catch any liquids that might get spilt on the screen to divert away from pcb below. I removed them from my cabs. If you put the monitor vertical it becomes redundant anyway

You're missing about 6" of it anyway, you may as well get rid of the stub.
